This airport looks AMAZING, the souvenirs are unique, the atmosphere is quite nice too. But in my country's airport you can get printed flags,goofy animal statues and expensive sandwiches🥲

Food is never a problem in Japan it's literally everywhere, I absolutely loved the noodle stalls at the train platforms and man that airport was sooo fun

Is it true that the govt plans to eventually close Narita? While this airport has some great food choices and the old part of Narita city has a lot of charm, NRT has that curfew, is horrible for connecting flights and is very far from Tokyo. Haneda is much preferred.

Food is definately my biggest problem when I visit japan because there they consider egg as vegetarian and I dont consume it at all , I usually survive by eating fruits , chickpeas , stir fried vegetables or milk shakes .

whenever I fly international, all of my Japan flights only take me through Narita Airport. is it because Haneda Airport doesn’t do international connections? I’m not as experienced, please educate me!

Haneda does fly internationally but Narita receives more international flights. I think it was 2010 when Haneda became international.

Just remember, you have to go up the escalator after check in, but before security to get to the mall. We made this mistake and couldn’t explore it.

several years ago many night flights were cancelled in Haneda due to snow storm … many travellers had to sleep on the top floor ... Lawson food were sold out only left drinks cause restaurants had already closed… kinda fun
