the action at the start is technically not a slave auction, it just selling all the possession of a powerful mage that had nobody on his will so everything he owned was but up for auction

9 times out of 10, light novel adaptations aren't much more than glorified ads for the source material with bare basic art. It was fun seeing these characters animated, but as usual, the LN is better. Literally every good element of this show comes from the source material.

@@samninjago8216 Agreed. Ppl can like the source over the anime versions all they want, doesnt mean the anime is "bad" just because they think it is. Plus even though all animes are "glorified ads" for their source means nothing as that just means the source is just getting promoted to more ppl. So why ppl hate the anime version when it hopefully gets more ppl into what you like is baffling.
