Those trying to figure out what Kasparov said, basically he made a comment about how he heard Naka is "streaming and twitching" and to him that "sounds like he (Naka) caught a disease, maybe worse than covid." It's really not that big of a deal, I personally feel like he was making a joke about how times have changed and it just may not have come across that way because of his accent. Everyone takes things differently, I would've laughed if someone said that about me, but to each their own.

Damn there’s so much going on from him playing chess, to holding talk the entire time, and reading chat/thanking chat for donating. This is really cool I wonder how all of this is getting processed in his brain lol
@quentindaniel9541

When you do anything as much as he plays chess it just becomes second nature. I used to compete in gaming tournaments but when I was at home gaming with random people I could be petting my dogs and texting or scrolling facebook or whatever because I played so much. If you play a game, such as chess, about a million times or so like Hikaru has then there's not as much focus required if its casual. If you watch him play people at his rating then he's very focused but this is very casual.

@@quentindaniel9541 true. Coming from a gamer myself, I too watch KZbin videos while playing games and other things as well. I think since it’s chess which people mainly think requires a lot of brain power (which it does but mainly for beginners), you’re kind of amazed as how he’s able to do that

@@BakedisBaker Yup, it's just repetition. I haven't played CoD in about a decade but still I could draw every single map from Black Ops or Mw2 from memory because I played so obsessively back then. I could tell people exactly what I would do and literally predict the first 5 minutes of a match because I had done it thousands of times. Everything become natural if you do it enough, every day everyone is just going through the motions without thinking. I know at work I don't think I just do and this is Hikaru's career.

I have a challenge for Hikaru. For every ten moves, he has to premove what he does. So, the first ten moves of the game will be premoved, he can’t change his premoves. Then after his tenth premove, he is allowed to examine the board and make ten more premoves. It doesn’t have to be 10, it can be 5, 7, whatever you want. This will be a very good challenge idea.

This actually sounds like a lot of fun. The only issue is that the premoves sometimes get broken, for example trying to take with a pawn when a piece is not there. Cool concept though.
@AlexWyattDrums
@AlexWyattDrums 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, except his opponent shouldn’t know about the premove rule for Hikaru. If you know he has to premove, you can make nonsense moves which will make Hikaru’s moves nonsensical, and may give the opponent an advantage or just be chaotic mess.
