I have a challenge for Hikaru. For every ten moves, he has to premove what he does. So, the first ten moves of the game will be premoved, he can’t change his premoves. Then after his tenth premove, he is allowed to examine the board and make ten more premoves. It doesn’t have to be 10, it can be 5, 7, whatever you want. This will be a very good challenge idea.
@Michael_Dominic4 жыл бұрын

21:21 I love how he basically premoves the entire endgame and then his opponent resigns before it can even play out.

HIkaru: "Here I get a chance to play guys like Guesstimate or Jeff Mark who are at the 500, 600 level..." Guesstimate's 1100 rating: "Am I a joke to you?" HIkaru: "Hehe, yeah"

there was something absolutely hilarious about this episode and amazing....This guy isn't even paying attention to the game and wins with such ease....To us mere mortals, this is so impressive.

He made a comment about how he heard Naka is "streaming and twitching" and to him that "sounds like he (Naka) caught a disease, maybe worse than covid." It's really not that big of a deal, I personally feel like he was making a joke about how times have changed and it just may not have come across that way because of his accent. Everyone takes things differently, I would've laughed if someone said that about me, but to each their own.

I wonder if he feels any competitive drive in these speedruns. He definitely puts the pressure on himself to win quickly, but he has a monopoly on the chess rating speedrunning market
