I'm an amateur recorder player. When my 8-year-old daughter started playing the recorder at school, I showed her how to play and practiced with her, and as a result, her sound improved. She easily plays this tune. I think teachers at schools may not have enough time to practice with each pupil, so kids do not sound very good. Every instrument takes time to practice, even if it costs only 10€ 😊

How did everyone else learn to read music and play notes, I wondered? For the concert we played jingle bells. I realized I was out of time with everyone else, lifted my bow off the strings, and faked it.
