Out of all these instruments, the recorder actually has the most potential. I've seen better triangles, and the musical frog is, well, a musical frog (they are fun). The Yamaha Soprano recorder is almost indestructible and very popular among kids for that reason, but it can make beautiful music in the right hands.

The saxophone one actually surprised me for how accurate the sound was, and the key placement. I played saxophone for my band class and it was hard at first and for the first week I didn't even know how to make a sound, But now I'm homeschooled and I still have my sax in my closet, but throughout my year in band we did concerts that were pretty fun (anxiety inducing)

Yea. I was confused to. And for abyone who wants to know the difference: The Marimba has a larger range. It goes down to two oktaves under the middle c and up to 3 oktaves above. The Xylopohne has a more sharp sound due to its bars mostly made out of metal and not wood like the marimba. Also common Xylopohnes dont go under the middle c. They often start in the first and second oktave and tend to go higher than marimbas.

So that one in the video is a Glockenspiel. :) And a small fact: Glockenspiel is a German word and literally translated it means Bells-play.

Your little accordion is diatonic this means that the note you get when you expand the bellows will be different to the note you get when you compress the bellows. As opposed to the chromatic piano accordion when you get the same note whether expanding or compressing the bellows.

Funnily enough, that plastic recorder is actually one of the better ones. It just sounds bad, if the person playing doesn't know what they're doing. Also, my ex-recorder teacher would be having a heart attack or smth if she saw you throwing that recorder around 😅.

After playing clarinet for over 4 years, I went back to the recorder for fun- I realize the reason it sounded so bad was because when playing the recorder kids just lacked the control of the air when blowing in it. It can genuinely sound decent if you can control your air just right and you can avoid the squeaks.
