That's not a girl best friend, that's a side chick waiting for her chance. I watched a chick do this to my brother for 14 years she waited for her chance. He’s lived with two sisters before (not his but that he roomed with before we met) and he has a few former women colleagues he bonded with. But these aren’t women who frequent his life often. I’d say they became tight with inside jokes and looking out for each other but I’ve literally never met them because they’re not in his main friend circle. Like we have friends that exist at layers. I don’t have guy bff’s but i guy friends.

I went through it, it will only become worse..
