Many tens if not hundreds of millions of people have done this throughout the course of history lol, "voe to the vanquished". A lot of people will take enslavement over death. Besides that there was always a chance you could end up lucky and someplace where slaves weren't treated too bad and maybe even have a better living standard and higher status than you had before, like slaves belonging to certain wealthy people, being part of the elite soldier class(Mamluks, Jannissaries) or a famous rich gladiator(the rock stars of the Roman era). 🤷‍♂️ But in this dude's case he would probably be bashing rocks and doing hard labour for the rest of his life lol.

Inaccurate representation of Battle of Bitter Springs. The Khans were the ones leaving the area, not moving towards it. If you were on the rock to your right at 0:14 and facing upwards towards the hill, THEN it would be accurate

It's a bounty hunting mod, I think New Vegas Bounties 2. You need to find the Kid's bounty notice, go to Lone Wolf radio to trigger the event.
