Beautiful place. My wife and I visited the Berlengas from Peniche in 2023. Loved the serenity of the islands. I was hoping to stay overnight to capture images of the Milkyway, but the small hotel besides the restaurant have no accommodation available. Thank you for posting this video Miguel. Muito obrigado.

Interesting place, Miguel. A four square-mile island where a Phoenician mythological deity was once celebrated; that the Romans claimed for one of their deities; that most people have never heard of, but that was known to Ptolemy, to the Vikings, and to pirates; that monks once inhabited; that has a lighthouse which can only be visited on Wednesdays; that was once of military significance; the history of which takes in the fact that a Spanish king was impotent; that is not on the bucket list of most of the people of Portugal; that is "for the birds"; and, last but not least, where the resident fishermen are also migratory. I kept waiting for you to tell us that the island once served as an open-air prison.

Já aí fui e foi mesmo pela curiosidade e comer uma boa caldeirada, porque de resto, não tem grande interesse, pelo menos para mim. Fiz a tour de barco pelas grutas que tem mas vai-se uma vez e está visto. Ao contrário de outros lugares que vale a pena sempre voltar como Sintra que ADORO
