Having your dad mic'd up, having him videoed while riding and having his input/comments really brings something to your superb videos. As a father myself I can't tell you how important it is to keep making memories by riding and sharing your passion together. Your dad is a hell of a rider and so are you. I love your dads colorful language because I'd be swearing too. Keep the videos coming, thank you for all you do!!!

Hey Matt, Just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoy these videos with your Dad. Quick story, my Dad was a regional sale manager for BRP way bay in the 90's and early 00's. I grew up on ski-doo's and we would plan a yearly ski-doo trips with my brother and uncles. I lost my Dad due to cancer in 2018, but these videos bring a smile to my face. These memories you guys are making remind me of the years of ski-dooing with my Dad. Cheers from Nova Scotia!

33:49 I think you should consider skid swap on the Lynx, cos then you get Lynx superior skid and suspension in both short and long version and it's as turbo. You will have the short tunnel, but you also have turbo power and superior suspension so you can do drops, bigger jumps and even bow ties and turn overs will be fun cos of the short tunnel. And when spring arrive you can swap back original skid and have a fun spring sled too. Don't think the 146" Lynx really have gotten to show you what a great sled it truly is yet do to snow conditions. But with a longer skid and track it will shine for sure.

@@MuskokaFreerider packtalk bold is what we been running, works pretty well but we ride with dirtbike helmets and when you're going fast it's hard to hear for sure. Tell him to try using earplugs next time, as weird as it sounds it will make the engine and wind sounds a bit quieter but will still let the speaker sound through. I think it's because the speakers push up against the earplugs so the sound passes through them. But I tried using it when riding sleds and they are for sure louder then bikes.

Back home in Dorset hardly anyone could touch Eric (aka Jerry) on a sled. FACTS. My family owned the ski-doo dealer there for nearly 30 yrs where you could count on Jerry coming to get the newest fastest sled every year. I can still remember back in the mid 80s when the ss25 was the hot sled and him and my dad where doing ski stands up and down the parking lot showing it off. Makes me emotional thinking about it since my dad just past away in december. So many great memories rippin sleds with all the locals and my old man.

After having to swap a ski loop, I try to remember to run an M6 tap into those rivets a few turns on my new sleds. Then your clutch tool and some heat gets the job done. But heating a bolt and using the claw of a hammer is easier.

By far the coolest video having both mics, definitely need to do this not with just Jerry but Dawson as well

For those ski loops: Heating method using torch is correct. Use self tapping screw to pull the rivet out and then replace with bolts and nyloc nuts instead of reusing the rivet.
