I just did my engine covers on my bike but soon as I started torque down the bolts right where the bolts hit the powder coat the powder coat cracked off. I wonder if the media is old in the blast cabinet I used at work because it never gets used anymore..
@nickaylett13605 жыл бұрын
Cameron, how do you decide when to powder coat and when to Cerakote?
@CameronNiemela5 жыл бұрын
I do powdercoat when there's no tolerances to worry about or I need a thicker finish. Cerakote for things with tight tolerances like triple clamps
@nickaylett13605 жыл бұрын
For durability is Powder coat preferred? Is cerakote likely to be worn through easily? Really hoping you do a CR500 AF Swap next!
