Ratbone rails l do not recall.....Ribbones l do.... I rode the first-generation rat bones for a very short period of time 95a..... This is when the black wheel versions as you have were lower quality across the board with any manufacturer because the heavy dyes affected the urethane..... and Powell back then was very slow with the concave and concave advancements..... I rode a Dogtown Jim Muir triplane which was leagues ahead of anything Powell Peralta was doing at the time..... Cool video

That is the exact set-up I would have minus the nose rail(although I quite like that one) and my rails would be the old school Vision rails. They were thicker and a bit softer than the P&P rails. Thanks for the video!

it's called a Jaw Bone and it is for grabing to do airs or other tricks not to protect the nose. If you want nose protection then you would put on a nose bone. two different types of hardware for the nose.

Great idea (with the nose guard for grabbing. I'm 47, recently started skating again (after 25yrs off) and it's slowly coming back to me! :) I'm setting up a Guerrero reissue now.. and thinking of that nose guard.. as his dagger board has NO nose (lol) It's a super fun board to cruise though..

i thought that graphic was the "vato rat" i had one in 85 it was blue. you need to bend your knees more my man. have you ever used a swing. thats the same thing you do when you hit a transition. we call it pumping. keep your knees bent a little.

Those ARE G-Bones 😂😂😂 and the nose guard is a jaw-bone, like a nose rail, not a guard
