This was completely and totally insane, I loved every microsecond. Brought a tear to my eye. So refreshing to see this sort of thing on a sensibly-sized double kicker. Wish I could b/s powerslide more like that. What a bloody weapon this guy is. Love the VHS intro, this video is too cool on every level.

The autumn trees with their yellow and brown colours look amazing. I used to love Hill bombing down Hyde Park in Leeds most days to and from work. The ride to work was a 2-and-a-half-hill bomb into Leeds, and the return journey was even better, with an amazing skate spot at uni with perfect 200-meter quarter pipe banks being a highlight. There were also concrete benches and curved benches, and the steps, rails, drops, and curbs all on a massive uni campus down the park and finished at my house, which was at the park. It was like a skating dream where you see perfect spots and you are just going and going, but this was real .
@dfpguitar10 ай бұрын
Going to be checking out aerial images of this campus. Live at the other end of the country but seems worth a visit.
@itisjustacomment10 ай бұрын
@dfpguitar Yeah, it's worth it . Security is tighter now . I started skating when city centres used to be shut on Sundays and all the skates used to travel city to city as you had free access to the whole city without much push back . I'm still skating in my 40s and have been skating some 26 years or more. So I'm happy with a curb 'slappy' and skate park pools. we have a great one in the Works skate park, which is as skater for many a year, I own the guys and a few people on the board for trustees so a small number get to go after hours late into the night. That's my lot these days ,but I still go to Hyde Park skate park and ask a few locals whose spots are still good. But the hill bomb from Hyde Park rear right to city Square in Leeds is still good .

I think they are Powell's downhill trucks. Aera. The wheels are Powell Dragons 64mm 93A. It is a new urethane formula that Powell came out with a couple years ago. Normally softer wheels don't slide that well, but, the newer formula does. Though I think downhillers normally like a softer wheel that is less slidey because they are going so fast. I think the formula was designed more for skateboarding than downhilling originally.
