Definitely...did a usability test this week and didn't want users to see the app before the test, since everyone gets an email when they share it, that didn't quite work out 😂

Great video: what would be really handy would be a PowerApps desktop version outside of the browser with a proper debugger. That would be incredible.

@@ShanesCows It would help massively. Browser functionality can be a bit flakey at times and constantly having to close and reopen the app because of strange in browser behaviour should (he says) be cured with a standalone desktop application.

I 100% agree. I travel a lot and sometimes on 14hr flights and can take advantage of this. I also have situations where I am waiting for a plane or RV traveling and need to get a project done and the internet is flaky.

I can't speak for everyone, but 'All Users' an option from my Manage Access user list.

All Users is a Security group in your Entra aka Azure Active Directory. It was a default group back in the on premises day.

Lots of teams doing lots of different pieces is what they would respond I think. Good news the containers got fixed. 😎 That seemed to be the most annoying change from the video.

The containers will show proper icon once you publish the app and open again. There is also issue with edit forms, which messes up the x property and the fill property of the combobox/dropdown included in a data card.

So I can no longer share my app with the entire organization? What if I want everyone to have access? Is there any way to do it? I got it that I can use the old view but if Microsoft removes it from the new one, probably that functionality will not be there in the future, right?

Yeah, not sure their answer for this one. I have never had anyone use "Everyone" in the real world. Most people use a security group like All Users or whatever it is called these days.

great tips, thx & YES pls for video of using Copilot to build desktop flow AND if it does come about please consider further unpacking the option Windows users have to do local versions of desktop flow without extra licensing (CONCEPT - use Copilot to build a desktop flow that builds a power app...)

@ShanesCows What you comment in minute 4 about the containers that you don't like (neither do I), there is a way to know if it is vertical or horizontal, you can see it at the bottom of the design screen, to the left of the slider to enlarge the window. However, I just created a new application (tenant in Europe) and they appear again as before except the general container (Authoring version 3.24104.14).

Thanks for the tip. My immediate reaction is that I would adopt a naming prefix to distinguish among vertical, horizontal, & non-responsive containers. Currently, I prefix all container controls with "con" (e.g., conHeader, conMenu). If the image that you tipped doesn't do it for me, then I'll probably adopt new naming conventions like conv or cnv, conh or cnh, & conn or cnn.
