I am not aware of any plans around deprecation or whether or controls will come to modern. My guidance is simple - start with modern and if the control is not available - then use creator kit

@@RezaDorrani I mean in the table control, the header there is a drop down that once you click it will give you the sort functionalities and the filter functionality. However by default, the filter is still greyed out and no info on the documentation to enable it. Do you know how?

MS has created some nice modern controls. Too bad most have been stuck in preview. My experience so far with some of these controls in preview have been spotty (especially dropdown/combo box!). It seems their focus right now is Copilot so who knows when they will start getting serious on getting these out of preview. By the way Reza, I never miss your top-notch videos. @@RezaDorrani Thats really unfortunate since most of them still have quite a few issues and lack of customization over classic controls. There's also big differences between canvas app modern controls and custom page custom controls and so far I havent seen any improvements in months.

@@everythingistaken5139 Classic controls are not going anywhere. If classic meets your app needs, then you can continue using them. Going GA soon is my prediction. I am not aware of the exact GA dates or plans.

I think I did show in video that toolbar can be horizontal or vertical. So you could use it as sidebar.

Can't wait to try it. To save screen space, I wonder if I could I add a Hamburger menu icon to set visibility of the toolbar to true. Then set it back to false after the menu icon onselect/is clicked (so it functions like a popout menu). 🤔

Dumb question, what advantage does the Toolbar have over having multiple buttons? Sure you have them all in one group but it seems to make it more complex than it needs to be as everything is in code, unless there is a big performance boost or there are things you can do that you wouldn't be able to do with a group of modern buttons?
