I almost fell for this trap in my past that has happened over two years ago. They asked me to pay and do the tablue certification. Thank god, I got an another offer meantime. I thought it was fishy at that time but now i get it.

Hi Shashank, thank you for bringing this up. I have fallen prey to this similar scam in the past for a Clinical Data Scientist role in a well-known company, where they asked me to do a Hadoop certification and I went ahead with it. And got duped for Rs. 17k. I think they're the same guys and just changing names.

Happened with me, but I am fortunate enough didn't give a single penny, never ever pay someone for job if they are asking you to pay just say them pay from ur company norms and deduct from my first month salary they will never call u again.

I too got the same call regarding Data Scientist role in Samsung Biologics. I had been given two tests to complete one HR related questions and another technical. I failed Technical round due to Hadoop related questions now they asked me same stuff u need to do certification n bla bla they will also provide stipend upto 20k for professional Hadoop certification course but should be completed within 15 days. I straight away said no company asks for certification before intaking the candidate. He straight away hung up on me 😂😂

Such scam is happened with me in past but luckily i got to know before payment. They also fool you mostly using pharmaceutical company names which are outside India. So, do check the address of companies , most of such fake companies gives Bangalore office address but company doesn't belong to that address and such scam is happened on the name of Tableau Certifications. EXACTLY SAME. ,,,, But I am already aware about that kind of scam..... and From my end I contacted the senior employee and management team to be aware that the scam was happening by using your organisation name and fake mail id. They need someone with knowledge of MicroStrategy, and they mentioned a three-week training where I have to appear for weekly exams. If I pass, they'll provide a permanent offer letter. They've also sent an interview meeting mail focusing on my current skill set, but they mentioned a boot camp. What should I do now? Kindly reply please

Even though you give correct answers to all 15 questions then also you will not pass the exam. Because their answer key is wrongly modified. I get 6 out of 15 after selecting all MCQs correctly. And then they called me you have to get tableau certification for further rounds and they said they are giving me only 2 hours to get tableau certified(after sending their fake tableau certification link). I said I have already tableau certification by Google (coursera course) your certificate has no value than Google. Then they said you have to take a certificate from the given link only.😂 They said you have to get the certificate ASAP otherwise you will be rejected.😂😂 That is definitely a Big scam😅

Sad but reality, when I was desparate to switch I also got scammed my hard earned money 17k for Hadoop certification naming from fake IBM website. It was from a reputed foreign company but they were faking the job opening in reality there is no such job or even the compnay doesn't even exist in India. It is organised scam from HR to technical round and so on. Thanks Shashank for bringing this up!
