Thank you so much sir. I have watched all your videos till now and understood the concept. I m beginner of learning just got stuck in one concept. You just duplicate the column and name it as a dim. How the relationship bet these two tables created automatically. For dimdate u have created with the common column. But for that two tables u just duplicated it and how relationship created i dont get that. I will be thankful for the guidance.

Very good explanation My doubt is can we use choose columns options in power query to remove unnecessary columns instead of removing columns, so that in future if need one of them we can simply check those columns and get ready to use them? Is there any difference impact between using removing and choose columns opt pls reply. Thank you

Whatever you do , uncheck or delete in my opinion both have same impact. I will check is there any difference, if so I will make a video soon

Hi Nagendra, thanks for all your wonderful videos,I have a query when we have all the information in a single table we can create the required visuals from the same table itself right? Why we should create fact and dimensions tables ? Is it for performance or something else ?

Sir 3 days ago I was grilled on data modelling topic in an interview...I was searching on net but there was not a proper content. Sir Data Modelling 101 is sufficient for data modelling to have knowledge of it?
@AnalyticswithNags
@AnalyticswithNags 3 жыл бұрын
Data modelling is what Modelling in Power BI. You need to finally design star schema (Facts / Dimension) or Snow flake schema. Types of dimension like Slowly changing Dimension. Different Fact Tables. These topics are covered in Data warehousing playlist. Learn those things as well. More over As I repeatedly saying Power BI alone is not enough. SQL+ SSIS+ DW+POWER BI these skills only will land you in a Job. Watch my What to Expect playlist in Power BI
