Everything that was said about Tableau (except that it runs on Mac) can be said about Power BI, the reverse is not true. Also, when I do a side by side of the desktop apps, Power BI is much faster than Tableau and it compresses large datasets much more than Tableau, for example my 1.92 GB text file was compressed to 162MGB in Tableau whereas PBI compressed it down to 83MGB

Which Mac do you have? Is the Mac with the ARM or Intel chip? Either way run Windows 11 on your Mac as a virtual machine and instal Power Bi on Windows.
