I've always been with you on this one...what supports this theory is when Tasha knocked Tariq out before he shot Tommy...I believe Tasha could've knocked Tariq out before he shot Ghost...I think both could be true...Tariq had no idea what happened until Tommy told him...but at the same time, Tariq was fine just hours later after talking to Tameika..so Tariq really could believe that he killed Ghost...but Tasha, Tommy, Simon, Tate, etc know the truth and agreed to let Tariq believe that...cause it's weird to me that Tate hasn't mentioned Ghost ONCE...he never does...Yas hasn't mentioned Ghost once either..

I always thought that this is Tariq’s Psychotic break… he was hallucinating before he shot his father. He saw Kanan and heard Kanan talking to him. We saw this kind of thing on Empire when Andre was having psychotic episode most of the season and then we found out none of what was happening was really happening.

I like the theory of it being a dream. I think that would make sense with force. Tommy’s spinOff is the true timeline storyline. Ive been saying this is all a dream since power ended. The only issue I have is pinpointing how far back it goes ( the shooting, entire s6 or the entire power series). I’m cool with him faking his death but it all being a dream is better writing to me. Book2 is the aftermath of all the ppl who wanted him dead, Force is different because Tommy and Kate were the 2 that didn’t want him dead in the end but it’s still showing their life without Ghost.

Great Theory: My husband and I have thought of similar theories: Final scene theory #1: Tariq wake-up from a dream in his bedroom at home (the penthouse). He walks out of his room and into the living room/kitchen area where he seen Tasha, Big mama, Yaz, Lakeisha, Tommy, Raina and Ghost. His dream took place in Season 4, episode 6 right after Kanan saved him from being killed by Jukebox or episode 8 after he witnessed the murder of the lady whose house he set up to get robbed. Tariq was so scared and shook that he went home and fell asleep. The rest of Power season 4, season 5, season 6 and all 4 seasons of Ghost book 2 have all been a bad dream of what could have happened based off some bad decisions made by Tariq. Final scene theory #2: Ghost wakes up from a dream in his bedroom at home (the penthouse). He walks out of his room and into the living room/kitchen area where he seen Tasha, Big mama, Yaz, Lakeisha, Tommy, Raina and Tariq. His dream took place in Season 1 episode 1 after seeing Angela on the grand opening night at his club "Truth". If Ghost never seen Angela that night, none of the events that took place in Power would have happened and there would be no need for Ghost book 2, Force or Raising Kanan.

I like this theory but the dream could be the dream Ghost had for himself or Tariq being able to live a normal life, go to college and not be in the game at all. Tariq did what Ghost always wanted to do BUT was also in the game but as a necessity for his family same as Ghost. So all that Ghost did to “protect” his family didn’t work out how he intended all for Tariq to become Ghost in the end. Especially when he graduates and gets his inheritance and he’ll have no reason to continue in the drug game but like his father he can’t just leave and he’s done too much for ppl to let it go. I don’t know about Anya but I do know him trying to help her because he sees himself in her (parents lying to her, becoming a target because of her parents) could come back and backfire on him. I believe Omari is in the finale based on something I saw that has since been removed I just don’t know how maybe Tariq sees him in a dream or his conscience starts getting to him and he thinks he sees Ghost everywhere.
