I think Mecca/Dante is gonna catch a hot one for sure, if anything the tejadas have more reason to kill him than Lorenzo to begin with. In the conversation with Zeke, Zeke asked his mum if she had involvement in Carrie’s murder and she denied it like we expected but whats more intriguing is Dante collaborated on her statement by saying she came straight home after she got kicked out. So its clear that Mecca knows she did it but didn’t say a thing which Monet noticed as well. If you fast forward to the end of episode 9, Monet says she’s not “leaving any loose ends.” The biggest loose end here is Mecca who can collaborate to the feds and Zeke if he ever needed to use what he knows on the murder of Carrie against the Tejadas specifically Monet. We’ve also seen one thing about Monet in the show is she doesn’t like getting into business with someone she can’t control from season one

Monet doesn't have Dante in her back pocket or wrapped around her finger like she thinks. Dante lied to Zeke to give Monet the impression that he wants to be with her above all else but I don't believe him. I'm convinced that there's more going on than what's been revealed thus far regarding Mecca & Monet. For example, Monet didn't know the business deal made between Lorenzo & Mecca where Mecca provides Lorenzo with soldiers as well as product to take over all of Queens. There's no benefit to Lorenzo to mess up his business by killing his own supplier during his own expansion of territory. Monet played herself with those lies about Lorenzo. Notice Mecca's reply to Monet's request for Mecca to kill Lorenzo. Mecca said, "I've got a better idea, let's me, you & Zeke get on my private jet & go wherever you want anywhere in the world." Episode 9 got me feeling like Monet is Mecca's target. Conversations between Monet & Mecca was like watching spies lie to each other under the pretense of being in love. Ten years of running that organization could mean that Monet is the target of some kind of sting. Queenpin type of role, she's got problems that she isn't aware of yet in my opinion. We shall see.

That’s the part that people are overlooking. The title is love and war...someone is going to get crossed and it’s not the obvious that everyone thinks of Mecca being setup. Why would he have his own indictment be in his possession and he’s walking around unprotected in the states. You can’t just hop on a plane if the government sent you overseas. The obvious is known to the viewers that Monet will double cross Mecca and he is going to be killed off because he’s a “snitch”. From the preview it looked that Lorenzo was coming a for Mecca and the episode went in a completely different direction

His character reminded of ghost in some ways the way he balanced being a real businessman and being in the game, the way he read the room, being a smart/slick talker & ruthless at the same time, his character had too much potential & should’ve went further in the show

Why is he still rocking with Cane after knowing he set Tariq up? Effie: If she killed Lauren, Tariq will never forgive her, because he even though Lauren snitched, he knew it was Carrie that roped her into it. Carrie lied to Lauren, and said it was Brayden they wanted, so she thought she was protecting Tariq, that's why she wore the wire. Effie just wanted "Malibu Barbie" out of the way, so she can have Tariq, all to herself, but it will backfire once all her dirt comes out. Cane, Mecca, Monet, & Chase, all deserves bullets at this point. The Weston's are about to be disgraced, however Tariq will have unlimited access to move as he sees fit, with Tate in his back pocket.

After watching this episode I went back and watched the original power and there’s a lot that can be connected I’m sure Mahoney is the leader of the alabians that in the origanal power that Vladimir use to have beef with second in the scene where lobos tells tommy n ghost his operation in LA has be compromised we now know that Dante aka mecca was in LA and is the rat however this got me thinking that tommy just might appear in the finale because last time we seen him he was off to LA but we know season 1 of force will be in Chicago could he return to help kill mecca as a final favor or decide LA is to risky due to Jason’s business partner that played in prison break and also now knowing that mecca might have men or friends in LA

Mecca could have possibly been Lobos’s distro in CA or worked closely with the CA distro because usually distro’ s and those that work close with them know about their connect expanding which could explain Mecca knowing Ghost or Tommy. Or because of Mecca’s background he could of been helping Lobos in shipping the drugs to NY without the Feds knowing and that how he knew Ghost and Tommy. I think Mecca digged into Tariq’s past after Cane name dropped and took a guess that he killed him. The burning question is HOW did he know Ghost was James because it took Angela and Greg 2 full seasons to figure it out and everyone else figured it out by season 4/5. A few other questions I hope that get answered is how long did Lobos and Mecca work together, the extent of that relationship and if Mecca was on Lobos’s payroll or Lobos’s was on Mecca’s payroll?
