I went to Chicago ONCE. It was in February. I was going for an interview with United Airlines (I wanted to be a flight attendant SO BAD back then. Needless to say, I didn't get the job). They flew me out and back same day. So coming from Atlanta, I picked my cutest Olivia Pope suit (peplum blazer, remind you), white wool overcoat, and knee-high Miss Sixty boots. WHEN I TELL YOU that "Chicago Hawk" shot thru my LAYERS of clothing like those bullets did on Monet's body on this week's episode of Power!!! My boots had NO GRIP on the sidewalk. I felt like a complete idiot. Yeah, Chicago weather is in it's own category. You can't compare it to anywhere else. You just gotta be there.

I LOVED the first book of Power with Omari Hardwick. I didn’t watch it when it first aired but I binged watched all 6 seasons later on and it was such a well written show. I shed a tear because it reminded me of Cleo in Set It Off the only thing missing was a cigarette. This season was definitely rushed. They were filming on the weekends trying to finish before the writers strike. I’m hoping they continue these characters on a new show.

Hey Rodney! This season was definitely rushed and I really haven't enjoyed it. Now, Episode 8 was the best episode of this season! Monet went out like a G, but she was a horrible mother. If Drew hadn't saved her numerous times, she would've been taken out! I'm looking forward to the finale because of one reason: GHOST!! Unpopular opinion: I still want Ghost to come back!!!!!! My predictions for the last episode: Anya knows that Noma lied to her about her father, so Noma doesn't stand a chance! Baby, when King Jaffe and his crew get to Noma and she has to answer for Anya's father and Obi, she's going to get sliced! Cane is definitely going down. To be honest, most of these characters don't deserve to make it, but I'm sure they will. Tate will take out Carter. Diana could get arrested for either killing the cop or the death of Salim. Effie could potentially survive if she heads to Stanford. Poor Brayden is just a coke head at this point and he's no good to anyone. I want Drew to make it out, but I'm not sure if he will. It's all up in the air. Unfortunately, Tariq will get out of this unscathed. He doesn't deserve to, but he will. Overall, it was a good series and I'm sure I'll miss it. It's a good thing we still have the original Power to rewatch. Love you,Rodney!❤ Keep up the great work!
