I think storytelling wise it makes more sense that Tariq killed ghost bc it’s the same thing James did that turned him into ghost (when he killed breeze, I think that’s his name). I think the point of book 2 is to have Tariq understand the choices his dad had to make by having him make them first hand. And as he turns into ghost he’ll begin to understand his dad more and then feel sorry he killed him in the first place. But I ain’t mad if ghost come back🤷‍♀️

You hit the nail on the head that's what I think the purpose of book 2 is Tariqs journey of making choices that give him a better understanding of who his father was and what he was really about and then feeling true remorse for what he did. @@QuoyahQuoyah nah thats dumb and unrealistic. all that trouble for what? its new york city. theres an ambulance every 5 seconds. even in my own small town. they come like busses and trains if you have ever been in the city. then to have a fake funeral and make his will lawyer his errand boy. if someone could even pull that off that would be expensive and unproductive. it also wouldnt do shit for tariq compared to him being there for tariq to make up for all the times he wasnt. the game aspect of the show is spot on, with all the troubles people face in that world. but it is unfortunately full of characters that started off with the biggest advantages then all of a sudden just made dumb decisions for the entire show. it kills the illusion because they would have had to be 10000x more careful to get where they were in the first place. if i were tariq and my dad waited until my university graduation to tell me he was playing to be dead the whole time id lose respect for him and call him an attention whore who had to run away from his basic manly responsibilities because he was too much of a bitch to face them. in real life people like that dont make it anywhere near his wealth or status

people don’t realise, yes there is a lot of evidence that suggests that Ghost is still alive; but TV shows like Power never only have one plot route. They have written Ghost out of the show but they can bring him back in at any time. I personally think that Ghost is dead however they left small easter eggs in there suggesting he is alive so that if they ever feel it is necessary to bring him back then they can. It’s not a black and white answer as to whether he is dead, this is fiction

That ambulance arrived a split second after James “died”. James stood there and instigated Tariq shooting him, anybody that wanted to live would’ve at least attempt an escape with that distance. The book "48 Laws of Power" came to light in Book 2 when Tariq was in class. I have read the book and i tell you that Ghost has to be following the rules coming from the book. i rewatched the show about 3 times already and each time i understand why he acted in such way. He used enemies he never trusted, he mostly spoke when it was necessary and always had a plan, Ghost was clean under the system thats why he kept Angela really close to help him if he ever went down (keep your friends close but your enemies closer) even though Ghost was in love with Angela he was still using her for his own benefit. I got more to say but i won't spoil it. Long story short Ghost follows the laws from the book and if you were to read the book you'll understand Ghosts decisions and the first law of the book if the biggest hint of it all now that it was mentioned in Book 2.

Also on the last episode of book 2 when Tommy leaves cash and sees Tariq leaning up against his car he said “I gave Ghost my word I wouldn’t kill you” BUT Tommy never said that. He pointed his gun at Riq and Ghost said let him go. Then Tommy got up and left. So I believe after Ghost got stitched up him and Tommy talked about his plan faking his death. Tommy didn’t just wanna kill Riq cause he tried to kill Ghost it was also because Riq set up Tommy and tried to get Vincent to kill Tommy so Tommy couldn’t save Ghost. And that’s why he promised Ghost.

Bro this is crazy because I just told my girl this same exact thing. I said you know what ghost might still be alive because the point of views were different. The one that stood out was the tommy and Tasha point of view. Tasha and tommy had different conversations when he confronted her about Keisha. One of them Tasha turned her back to Tommy and the other one show Tasha face to face with Tommy. That let me know ok there could’ve been a different outcome that they didn’t show. In every TV show, they hide things for Tow groups of people, one is the audience and some of the characters in the show. Sometimes they hide something from other characters in the show and reveal it to only the audience. Others reveal to the character in the show first and later before the audience get to understand what was hidden from them. Just like in Power season 6 episode 10, where they left us with who shot ghost. As at That time Tommy, Tasha and Tariq knew who shot ghost but none of us the audience knew who shot ghost until after the 15th episode before we all knew it was Tariq. So if they are hiding ghosts body from the audience and telling us he is dead, and no RIP post, it means they are hiding something from the audience.
