I hope the GOP changes the tax laws about Double Taxing on affiliate marketing. This law is preventing NC citizens from having affiliate marketing work because companies do not want to deal with complicated tax laws. So instead of getting more tax money the state is getting 0 $. Change this law for small business.

Increase teachers' pay? Your little speech is laughable with no credibility or merit. You're not talking about the facts. As of January 2024, North Carolina's minimum wage is $7.25 per hour for non-tipped employees, which is the same as the federal minimum wage. This rate has remained unchanged for 15 years, despite discussions in the legislature to increase it. In March 2023, Senate Bill 440 was introduced to increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour, but as of April 2023, it had not progressed further. Many other states' minimum wage is $15.00 per hour

NC has a budget surplus that could be used to increase teacher's pay. The minimum wage argument is a non sequitur to the teacher's pay issue.
