Totally cute. My husband is working in northern Wisconsin. U guys would realy like each other. He was valid Victorian in college ur both very intelligent men. He cuts trees under power lines. He's boots and Jean's kinda guy and handsome too

What a beautiful little knome Ben that hand carving looks like hard work and using your legs for "clamping" 😮 You are amazing at this style of carving So much info on those bits that you use Much appreciated PS please use a mask you wouldn't believe how much fine wood dust come flying up NOT so much with your hand tools but with your electric tools and sanding Take care Hope your rebuild if the Studio doesn't take tool long 🥰

Get a cordless chainsaw to help rough it out, I love using mine to do on bigger pieces

Hi Burt, Thanks for the comment. No. The beard is carved and then I paint with two layers...a darker layer underneath...usually a Payne's gray, then the white or lighter gray on top. Ben

Hi Burt, He is painted with Jo Sonia acrylics, I likely used yellow ochre, and a little tint of red Ben

I like him, he's a little fat but, that's from eating to many Cheetos, Be safe , See Ya, i always ring the bell ?
