Good stuff gentleman, although I did hear PJ talk down tribal a little too much today! My Krenko goblin boss deck can get pretty happy on turn 3-4, don’t sleep on tribes too much! Haha but seriously good stuff guys!

To be fair, Krenko has always been an exception to the typical power level of both tribal AND mono red decks. However, I am a HUGE tribal fan and have built about every main tribe, and agree PJ shouldn't sleep on tribal too much. We have so many awesome tribal payoffs these days

Sorry guys, I just use it as an example of something lower power. Think spider tribal, or orc tribal something like that. Goblins, elves, and dragons are all really strong tribes. Recently my favorite deck has been Munda Ally Tribal, and my all time favorite is angel tribal, so its not that I dont like tribes just that you wouldn't want to run a less supported one against a good Golos or sisay deck...probably not gonna have a good time.

Enjoyed the conversation, and enjoyed that you guys pushed an overall message of being open and kind to other players before anything else

Nice Podcast, I only just got to listen to it, while adjusting my EDH decks! I feel like one problem is that the YT and reddit "meta" is much more competetive then your avg. kitchentable magic, as well as most things you can find in your LGS. I always find myself upgrading my decks and making them to strong for my "flithy casual" friends in the process. I mean they do run upgraded precons, so finetuning a deck can be a bit tricky - because I often have to "downgrade" certain cards to make the experience enjoyable. But on the other hand, this enables medicore, yet interesting cards you wouldn't play otherwise :)
