Thanks for giving the 1st generation V-Max the recognition it deserves. I had a 1986 V-Max until a left of center truck met us on a blind curve in 1994. I've found a 2004 for 6 grand and I'm anxious to enjoy Max again. Currently driving a Honda VTX 1800R.😊

I own a 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 GT always want one speaking of the older version but now with the new one and being able to buy one its a beast of a bike to have the acceleration and the torque it produce is something out of this world , when you ride this bike you feel bad ass its a heads turner for sure and it command attention when you arrive at a bike meeting your making alot of friends quickly who ask questions about the Rocket its very special never experience this with any other bikes ive own for the last 40 years. Thank for the video.

Excellent presentation. I own a 2022 Diavel 1260S and I can tell you IT IS A MISSILE ON 2 WHEELS!!! Incredible power throughout the entire rpm range. 0-70mph in a blink of an eye makes it so easy to leave all others behind at stoplights. Smooth comfortable ride with great handling.

I've got an 82 Magna V45 and besides from the very small main tank ( you can squeeze 10 litres in it if you really try but don't put it on it side stand when it's full. Luckily this model came out with a 4 litre reserve tank behind the left hand side side cover) and I love it. It was an American import back in 2011 and because of that it only has just over 50,000 klms (original) on the clock now. I also love the fact that most of these bikes are shaft drive proving a bike doesn't need a chain to go fast. Keep up the good work.

In the 1980s I had a Honda V45 Sabre, the standard model of the Magma. It was a screamer. The V45 was 698cc to pass under the USA big bike tariff at the time. The V65 was the fastest motorcycle in the World then, but rare and much more expensive.
@bluevalkyrie2517
@bluevalkyrie2517 Жыл бұрын
The Honda Sabre was a motorcycle made by Honda from 1982 to 1985. Two years of the Sabre production run were part of a group of Japanese motorcycles that came to be known as "tariff-busters". The 1984 and 1985 models fell in this class because of the modifications made allowing those models to circumvent the newly passed United States International Trade Commission tariff that placed a heavy tax on import/foreign motorcycles with 700cc or larger engine displacement.

I’m a very big guy and I don’t need the speed but the torque is nice I’d actually love to get a first generation rocket three but if I ever won the lottery I might have the newer generation one and one of those V4 Ducati‘s but honestly, I do use it for long distance, travel rather than launching down the road in the walls such. No I don’t remember what the engine size was but what about the Yamaha warrior? That was a really nice looking bike and it was pretty big looking at least.

Would you consider a rebel 1100 a muscle cruiser?
@motorcyclecafe

No I am afraid they are just not in the same league compared to other modern bikes. They are still powerful though, a great cruiser yes, a power cruiser no.

Thanks. I too owned a Victory Hammer S but I sold it when polaris shut them down. The Victory Hammer S is 'in my opinion' one of the best overall performing motorcycles ever made. It ticked every single box, even had ample cornering clearance. What a great machine!!!

I've got a Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse which is a fantastic powerful cruiser, I used to own the Kawasaki ZL1000 Eliminator travelling far and wide on that beautiful machine the Chief Bobber Dark Horse gives me a much better ride with a lot more power and will be my main ride for many years.
@motorcyclecafe
@motorcyclecafe Жыл бұрын
Yes the new Indians are superb. Although the thunderstroke engine which is what i think yours has, does in fact have less horsepower than the kwaka, 92hp from memory but it does have a substantial amount more torque at unbelievable low rpm too. Awesome machines in every way.

The Boss Hoss is a fantastic looking bike with almost unlimited power but they will not keep up with most of the other bikes mentioned here in the real world. They cant corner at all basically and even in a straight line drag race they have too much power and spin the tire uncontrollably if the rider is really pegging the throttle.

In the pursuit to develop more powerful motor cycles that look to be grondbreaking and innovative unfortnately they become more heavier and uglier.NOT LIKE THE CLASSIC BEAUTIES OF PAST SUZUKI ..HONDAS ..KAWASAKIS ..AND YAMAHAS AND OTHER BIKES
@motorcyclecafe
@motorcyclecafe Жыл бұрын
I do agree to a certain degree. Not all bikes are heavier and not all are ugly. Having said that some bikes these are just hideous to me, and adventure bikes are getting ridiculously heavy. I produced a video on this alone. Appreciate your opinion buddy!
