Power Drawbar for the Bridgeport Mill - Making the Actuator and Test Run

Next part of the power drawbar is the actuator that attaches to the handle pivot from the previous video. This part presses on the butterfly valve of the air tool to engage the drive socket.

You ask for comments .. I was taught when using clamp screws to fix a round piece in a round hole, to not put 2 screws diametrically opposite each other. 1 screw pushes the bar to the opposite side of the hole and creates line contact which fixes the bar more securely. 2 screws at 45° are better. 2 opposing screws create point contact each side and allow the bar to pivot. This can cause wear and subsequent loosening. Two reasons why it isn't particularly relevant to your project .. Your location isn't that critical and to drill 2 holes at 45° would be more problematic. Though you would probably enjoy the challenge 😊
