Well, they are alive to make their own way. It's better than being threatened by Ghost when his family knows the shit he's done and didn't sell him out (Terry Silver was AFTER he sent the feds to Tasha's daycare so miss me with that in advance). In all of his narcissistic arrogance, Ghost couldn't see that Tariq was losing his mind getting high, stealing, hanging with Kanan...then Ghost started back hanging with Kanan. Ugh! This episode frustrated me to no end...idc what anybody say, if a father gotta 1) come out the bank TWICE to pay your ransom. 2) try to make sure you never have to want for anything. 3) try to keep you away from the streets ... Ghost had his faults, but this writing towards at the end of the 6th season to make him be the bad guy was TRASH. Well, Tasha wanted Tariq in college too. In episode 610 she asked Ghost "So you want a kid like Tariq...not street...not hood...to go to prison? No college? No future?" She and Ghost both wanted the college for Tariq, but Ghost thought college was going to stop Tariq from trying to sell drugs... we knew better and ummm so did Tasha. She knew his crazy ass was not going to stop and she was right. He pulled Dre's brick out right on the damn table. She tried whooping his ass...he blocked her lil ass from hitting him. Now, if this was real life, I would have taken his lil ass out of Mcalister Prep and let him go to the high school on MLK. Sotting up here wasting my money 🤣🤣🤣His wannabe ass wouldn't have made it.

Just my opinion but I think Ghost was ready to die in a way. I know as smart as Ghost was he had to be thinking about why Tariq wanted to know about Breeze at that moment. I think he didn't really think his son would be the one to kill him. I think that is why he went in and changed his will because they fought him tooth and nail about Tariq staying out of the streets and Tasha taught him how to sell drugs. In the end Ghost got what he wanted by making Tariq go to school like he wanted him to.

These inconsistencies between POV-centric storylines really do bother me. I understand some of them may be influenced by the emotional state of the POV character. But the rest doesn't make sense. Like Tommy grabbing Tasha by the neck and making her kneel with a gun to her head when the confrontation in the Tommy episode wasn't as physical as that. Ghost hit the nail on the head about the problem with Tariq. Everyone does all these things for him, to protect him from the consequences of his actions. He never takes responsibility for himself. Tariq kills Ghost? Of all people? Really? I understand it fits the tragedy of the show but come on! Once again someone takes the fall for Tariq, denying him the punishment he deserves. But at least he suffers the pain of watching his mother get arrested. Flashback to young Ghost and Angela was sweet. I was delightfully surprised to see Carl from Shameless play young Tommy. My issue with the finale is that it didn't feel like a series finale to me. 6x10 felt like the true finale of Power while everything that happened after was set up for the spinoffs. I bet most of those shows will fail after one season.

I personally enjoyed the Power finale. All three main characters had great finishes to their respective arcs (aside from the poorly written end to Tasha's). Looking back at how they started out within the show I definitely didn't see Tommy surviving and not getting any jail time. DEFINITELY didn't see Tasha ending up in prison. At any rate the Power finale was better than the GoT finale 🤔 I recommend y'all check out Snowfall next and I HIGHLY recommend Atlanta as well.

The finale was not a finale. I've understood their point of view like this. The spinoffs are "chapters. II, III, IV, V" they are saying this is all the BOOK of Power, and Chapter I is done now it's on to the next, but we don't look as shows as a chapters but entire books the SEASON is the chapter. You are supposed to end this SHOW not Chapter with some finality wrap up everything they didn't do that these 5 episodes wasn't solving Ghost murder ot was all setup for spinoffs I said after Tate episode I felt funny I liked it but it played terrible in the arching story of Ghost my exact words were "I feel like it was setup for a spinoff and for that it's great but other than that it was dumb" I had no idea they actually were setting up 4 damn spinoffs so I was absolutely right. He won just too fukking much like EVERYTHING just went so right he won the luck lotto. Anyways there was no closer Ramona was last shown in Tate episode they didn't even give a funeral or memorial for Ghost like dude WAS THE SHOW and a political candidate and for 5 episodes they did nothing to actually wrap up his death they hardly went past the aftermath just reruns of suspects at the time. Like what? How do we not even get anything for Ghost? And if they're telling me "well watch Chapter II, IV, V for wrap up aftermath(most likely Tariq show) of that stuff) then you've failed to end Power. That's what they are saying Power never ends but "Power" did end these they are taking for granted everyone is actually going to watch ALL the spinoffs and they'll even actually air all spinoffs, but the closer to the 1st book was so terrible you've done NOTHING to interest me in ANY of them I seriously have zero interest in watching any because obviously they don't even listen to fans. Episode 1 they were smart af did dirt at night used silencers moved in silence thought ahead then by this season they have shootouts in broad daylight never think at all police never arrive all the rules they setup went out the window and it became a soap opera for real they legit started directing like a soap opera. I only finished because I put time and YEARS into this show I'm not gonna quit on the last season I'm honestly glad it's over I was ready for it to end.
