Her name is Haruna and she plays Pearl/Sabian, and she keeps this tempo going for 2 hour shows. They also play thrash, heavy rock and some power ballads. Check out "Break the Wall" or "Holy War" Live 2020, they are excellent in the studio, but even better Live. Both guitarists are insane shredders, amazing vocalist, amazing rhythm section. Influences for them include bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, Pantera just to name a few. Thanks for reacting to my 2 favorite bands Lovebites and Band Maid! Stay safe.

Proud member of the Wolf Pack since 2017 when bitten by their 1st song Don't Bite The Dust, and bought everything they've done, been on their burning blood ever since. They are the best power/Thrash, Speed and classic metal band to emerge in 30+ years since Maiden/Priest. GLORY and PERFECTION touches everything they've ever done. They are the new metal godz. Live songs from Five Of A Kind dvd are usually done, as well as the Daughters of the Dawn tour without too much Copyright interference, Also their later Videos like Rising, When Destinies Align, The Crusade, Winds of Transylvania and Glory To The World. That sounds amazing....LMAO you haven't heard anything yet, wait till they blow you out of that chair with their LIVE flawless performances. These insanely talented women are driven to perfection and have brought the glory of 80's metal to a whole new level and add Asami's bluesy vocals in English (They were formed to bring a more European sound to J/Metal) and you have the sensation of a Lamborghini at top speed on the open road. They are all exceptional musicians and blend together even better than the individual parts. Best new metal band (2018), 1st all female Japanese band to play Wacken (20180 and Bloodstock (2018). Their LIVE shows from 2019 and 2020 are legendary and the Midori/ESP and Miyako/Dean shows are sensational. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music. They have only been around for about 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and now they’re taking it to another level. This was a medium-intensity song for them. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. One key to their sound is that the two shredders are so different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets really rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Yes, they are amazing live. Greetings! So good to hear you acknowledge drummer Haruna's cymbal work. Her style is a perfect fit, relentless dbl-kick with tasty accents and fills, yet a solid foundation with bassist Miho (the two founders of the band) is the platform for the vocal and guitar melodies/solos. Haruna's choice of quick-decay cymbals is key to keeping their sound 'clean' and uncluttered. The guitarists, Midori & Miyako, follow their individual solos with a harmony-duet on nearly every song. This band is an ensemble and their unity is a featured aspect often proclaimed in their lyrics, mostly from vocalist Asami, while encouraging all of humanity toward facing our failures while promoting self-love, self-empowerment, justice, dignity and 'creating a new future' for all. Your recognition of power-metal leads me to suggest a couple different styles they embrace. Live? You should have a look at their Five of a Kind show they did recently at Zepp Divercity, Tokyo, from July or August 2020. I'd start out with their first track, which is Thunder Vengeance. They went thrash on that one, as Miho (the bassist) wrote the main riff of the song after seeing Slayer at Download Festival. From there, I'd find Hammer of Wrath, then Holy War, also from Zepp DiverCity. Basically any live show of theirs will work as long as it is NOT from Grasspop. The mix there was absolutely horrible, and it wasn't a fault of the band. So their Five of a Kind show, or Daughters of the Dawn show will work.

Also may I introduce you to Miho on bass (who, with Haruna, formed the band back in 2016), Midori (ESP guitar) and Miyako (Dean Guitar). Watch any track from Zepp Diver City Tokyo. There are two shows, 2019 and 2020. Most people suggest “Holy War” as your live starter. But please also check out the MV to their Iron Maiden tribute track ‘The Crusade’ to hear Asami go vocally nuclear. I love BAND-MAID, but I'm glad you're expanding into other Japanese all-women bands. A few more LOVEBITES would be excellent, like ""Holy War" and "The Shadow of Wrath". Then check out some other Japanese all-women metal bands like NEMOPHILA's "Oiran" and HAGANE's "Labradorite". They're play different styles of power metal, but they all rock hard.

Sorry about that. Originally I didn't pause during most of those solo so they blocked about a minute and a half of that seection in Japan so I had to improvise and pause without redoing my reaction. I felt it wouldn't be as authentic. Sorry I have a soft spot for drummers and bassists so they get alot of my attention!
