EDIT: Due to the comments, I now have plenty of context on the band, Thank you! People seem to think I was being negative too, I will put it here in caps. I WAS NOT BEING NEGATIVE! I think they are all amazing and I am really excited to check out more of their music! They have the potential to be one of my favourite bands of all time, but this is only the first song I have heard so it is too early to make up my mind.
It looks like Unleash the Archers have got some competition!

"M & M" are the dual guitarists Midori (blonde, ESP E-II, "Superstrat lady") and Miyako (dark hair, Dean Flying V Signature) are no competitors, they support each other in most harmonic sense. While Midori "Crazy Shredder" plays more the fast and crazy stuff, Miyako "The Golden Touch" does more of the melodic and emotional stuff, as well as keyboards and grand piano, while the other one supports it together with the insanely fast and enduring drummer and the bassist Miho (since 2022: Fami). Stage general is Asami (vocals), whose background is not metal, but R&B, soul, dance & ballet. All five of them are talented and tight beyond comprehension! TBC

they are both incredibly talented guitarists and midori is the more animated one that plays the crowd as well as the shreddy solos where miyako - being the chief songwriter as well as pianist is the more reserved and her playing is a bit more soulful and emotional. but believe you me she can also shred with the best of them given the opportunity. their guitar masterpiece is the song 'scream for me' live from the abyss 2020. you will witness both of them going in a back and forth epic guitar battle switching off no less that 14 times. i've watched it a couple of hundred times and it still knocks me over.@@BraindeadBreakdown

Miyako-Fan here. She just has way more feeling and thus - in the long run more to offer for my soul. That is not taking away anything from Midori who probably would be an asset for basically any band on this planet. But Miyako, well: she is music.

@@wolfgangwalk337 To a large extent I agree. Miyako is my favorite. But, I think Midori has it also. There are lots of songs where she is 200% into it, not goofing around and shredding but are totally inside her own head feeling it, probably not seeing and hearing a thing around her. That is nice to see and hear.

Miyako, the Dean guitarist, is also around 4 months pregnant for this concert. Saw an article that when on the road, the two guitarists spend their free time together working on their harmonizing and looking for new solo material for future songs. That time spent together really shows. There are 4 songs dropped from their latest concert DVD/Blu Ray, Knocken at Heaven's Gate, that you might want to check out. First show after a 2 year hiatus and a new Bass player, Fami, who is also playing her first concert. Hammer of Wrath, Nameless Warrior, Judgement Day, and Liar. Welcome to the insanely wild and fun world of the 8th Wonder of the World, Lovebites!!!!

I thought you'd like Lovebites. Your mom would be pleased to know that besides Lovebites, Japan is full of all female bands such as - Band-Maid, Aldious, Mary's Blood, Bridear, Nemophila, Doll$Boxx, Trident, Hanabie, Show-Ya and many others. Lovebites to me are the Metal Queens and took the top spot away from my favorite band Iron Maiden that held the spot for 40 years. The super Strat lady as you call her is Midori, also a Miss Fitness contestant. The Dean lady, Miyako is to on par with Midori but is a concert level pianist, playing since age 3 and can play bass and drums, a prodigy if you will. Both have there own style of play, Midori more outgoing and Miyako more reserved. The other members are - Haruna - drums, Asami - vocals and Fami - bass, who recently joined at the departure and co-founder Miho. Other Lovebites songs I recommend - Set The World On Fire [Live from "Ride For Vengeance Tour 2021", Holy War [Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020], Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 The Hammer Of Wrath [Official Live Video taken from "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate"], Judgement Day [Official Live Video taken from "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate"] Swan Song [+Chopin Intro] (Five of a Kind, 21/02/2020), A Frozen Serenade 2021 LIVE in Tokyo with lyrics, Edge of the World (Five of a Kind, 21/02/2020) to start with.

Great reaction my friend. It only gets better from here because that was one of Lovebites very first songs they ever wrote as a band. They've improved since then. At the time this video was created Midori (the blonde guitarist) was slightly faster than Miyako (the black haired guitarist) in shredding. But during the band's one year hiatus in 2022, Miyako improved her speed and is equally as good as Midori now. They are pretty much equals in ability. Some prefer Miyako's style as she puts more emotion and feeling in her solos, whereas Midori goes for speed and show, often utilizing the whammy bar for example. They compliment each other perfectly and have formed one of the greatest guitar duos of all time. Wait until you see/hear their newer songs like Judgement Day, Dissonance, and Soldier Stands Solitarily. Judgement Day has a live video and a music video, the other two just have an audio only video.

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 The band is around since 2016 and released their first EP and album in 2017. At this point they have 4 albums, some singles and EPs and also 4 official live DVD/Blu-ray releases. They’ve already toured in Europe back in 2018/2019, including the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. Then came Covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After that LOVEBITES came back with new bassist and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. New album with the same name came out in February 2023. LOVEBITES just finished touring in Japan. Earlier this year in march they played their comeback show. This was their first live gig since 2021 and first show with their new bassist Fami. There are 4 videos on their YT channel from this show. I suggest „The hammer of wrath“ the first song of this concert for a next reaction. We the Wolfpack, name of LOVEBITES fans worldwide, are all hoping for a world tour next year … The video of Shadowmaker you’ve seen was still with there old bassist Miho and was recorded in March 2021 under strict covid rules. The band: Asami vocals, most of the lyrics, song writing - the one and only voice Miyako guitar, pianos, keyboards, main composer - the golden touch Midori guitar, songwriting for a few songs - crazy shredder Haruna drums, wrote one of their songs - little big engine Fami bass - shining fingers (Miho bass, song writing and founder - natural born headbanger)

GR8 reaction bro!!!! I realize that this is your 1st time hearing LOVEBITES so just a little information about them for you. Midori; "super strat lady"; is playing an ESP. She didn't start playing guitar until she was 20!! She had played organ, violin and cello from a young age and like I said didn't start guitar until age 20 when she attended one of the premier music schools in Japan. Her nickname from the band is "Crazy Shredder!" Miyako; Dean ML lady; is a classically trained pianist from age 3!!! She is also the one who composed Shadowmaker, and is the primary composer/arranger of Lovebites music. She is also a Dean signature artist and has 2 Dean signature models including a "Flying V" and another Dean (forget the model but it looks a little like a PRS) guitar 🎸. She also is endorsed by Orange and has signature effects pedals as well. In addition to guitar 🎸 (she started teaching herself at 18) and piano 🎹, she plays keyboards, bass, drums 🥁, violin 🎻, cello and brass instruments. Her nickname is "The GOLDEN TOUCH ✨️ ". 2gether Miyako and Midori call themselves the "SHRED SISTERS" but are also affectionately called "M&M"!!!! Vocalist is Asami; "THE ONE AND ONLY VOICE!"; who is the primary lyricist! She also plays piano 🎹 and composes (& co-composes) some of Lovebites songs. Her background is R&B and SOUL. She actually had never really listened to Metal until she joined Lovebites!!!! And now is the biggest Thrash Metal lover in the band!!! On drums 🥁 we have the "LITTLE BIG ENGINE" (all 4'9" of her!) HARUNA!!!! HARUNA is one of the best drummers I've ever seen and heard in AGES!!! Male or female and often times I feel she gets overlooked!!! Seriously listen to her and compare and I think you will agree!!! HARUNA is also the co-founder of Lovebites along with the original bassist Miho!!! Miho left the band in 2021. She was the one playing bass in the Shadowmaker video you just reacted to. The newest member of Lovebites is Fami!! "Flying Fingers" is her nickname given to her by the band. An Absolutely Amazing bassist who just turned 21!!!! All the other Beautiful Ladies of Lovebites are in their 30's!!!! Currently I don't believe there is a better Metal Band out there 2day!!!! I am not saying they are the BEST EVER in history (though give them a few more years and that may change) but right now I can't think of a band that even comes close to the talent level of these 5 Amazing musicians!!!! Some more songs from Lovebites to check out; Swan Song with the Chopin intro (Miyako on piano 🎹); Break the Wall; Nameless Warrior from the 1st of their 2 comeback shows in March of this year featuring the new bassist Fami; Hammer of Wrath (was the opening song of the comeback show; Judgement Day ( music video or the live..... maybe both? ); Holy War!!! Most people will probably recommend the 2020 live but in my opinion the 2021 live video is the better of the 2 performances. 2020 it was the 2nd song of the show, 2021 it was the last song and Asami's vocals in the 2021 performance were stronger. It seems that the longer they play during a performance the stronger they get!!!! And to have that much energy still towards the end of a 2+ hour concert is Incredible!!!! I know I've gone on quite a bit but I hope I've at least given you a strong basic history and knowledge of the BEST METAL BAND in the world 🌎 2day!!! WELCOME TO THE WOLFPACK!!!! BTW, I also just subscribed to your channel 😊!!!! Keep up the good work and enjoy your journey with LOVEBITES!!!! BTW, one minor thing; the volume of the Lovebites video was a bit low!!! And I had my volume ALL the way up!!! Just FYI 👍

congrats for finding this band. always great when a real musician appreciates them. after five years they still impress me. their rabbit hole is deep: founded in 2016 they have now a backcatalogue of around 60 songs. and there´s not a single bad, medium or stale song. I think, you cannot compare the two guitarists, "super strat lady" comes more from the technical sidee. "dean ml lady" does not only compase 70% of their songs, she is also a guitar nerd, has modified the PUs and electronic of her deans (she´s got a beautiful dean icon too). her amps are peavey 6505 + and a diezel, her cabinets are from orange. she comes more from the emotional and classical side of the music. and she is a classic piano player on pro level as well. check out their "Swan song" with the chopin intro. short edit: I think your mom would like this even more.

@@BraindeadBreakdown Lovebites currently has 55 songs in their catalog not counting instrumentals and covers. Miyako has been the solo composer on 23 of those songs and was involved in the writing of another 3 songs (so just under 50%, not 70%). Dean currently has 13 signature guitarists from around the world and Miyako is one of the 13 and the only female. She was not playing her signature Dean in this video. Shadowmaker is the 4th track on the debut album from late 2017 called Awakening From Abyss. Miyako became an official member of Lovebites only 3 months prior to the release of the debut album so it is likely she wrote Shadowmaker for Lovebites before she had decided to join (she was in another band at the time). I believe that the first music video released by Lovebites was for Shadowmaker. I consider the song to be the first of Miyako's masterpieces. Two other songs from the debut album that you should definitely experience are The Hammer of Wrath (the live version from earlier this year which spotlights their new bassist Fami) and Edge of the World (from their February, 2020 show right before the world shut down).

I can't really compare who is better between Midori (blonde, ESP, "Superstrat Lady") and Miyako (dark hair, Dean), as they play different styles. Midori is the better technical guitarist, and is faster and more shreddy. But Miyako is more of a bluesy player, more emotionally evocative in her playing. Midori actually tutors Miyako on the finer technical points, and Miyako is nearly her equal in that regard now. From an overall musical standpoint, Miyako is the most well-rounded musician in the band (though she is rivaled in that regard by the new bassist Fami, who is not in this video), as she is also a world-class classical concert pianist, and is even better on keys than she is on guitar!

Try another Lovebites song. "Set the world on fire" or "Holy war" is a good songs to try. Thank you for your reaction. More Lovebites on the channel. And welcome to the WolfPack! By the way, the "Dean-girl" Miyako was pregnant during this performance. And she was able to play for more than two hours in such tempo!

@@BraindeadBreakdown They were quite productive in just 5 years of existence, that they have a best-of album for 2017-2021. All of them (plus Mao, an associated musician from another group) have written more or less songs (most of them Miyako, Miho, Mao). The three covers and 6 piano covers are excellent. Their musicianship seems unlimited. All songs in English (mostly Asami), except for "Bravehearted", both in Japanese and English. I've tried to structure the list a bit to get an overview of their work. This year (2023), they've had a restart with new bassist Fami (bass prodigy with well known KZbin channel), starting what I call "LOVEBITES 2.0", a new album "Judgement Day", a new live tour, new live album, we are expecting big things happening in 2024 (world tour, festivals), but until now, only September 6th in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is confirmed (ProgRock Festival).

When you have heard a few more from them, you'll see multi variable technical techniques being used by both The Crazy Shredder Midori and The Golden Touch Miyako, different styles of play and different sounds from different guitars yet together a tuned synchronisation of perfection is formed, and is consistent with every harmonised solo performance, my only concern was your constant pause during solos, and you being a guitar man should know that is a no no🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺

I have never understood that no no. If you hear parts in the solo to comment on, that is just fine. You yourself has probably heard that solo lots of times. Let the reactor approach the song he chooses. One good advice is though to back up 5 seconds or so every time you stop. That will help to get the flow. And, of course, if you stop in a solo it sometimes is just as good to back just before the solo starts. But, that is just advices. And no no no.
@gordonnottsfinest180
@gordonnottsfinest180 8 ай бұрын
I agree with you saying back up 5 seconds or so, but regarding the solos, I think it's better to wait until finish and then comment. They don't usually go more than 30 odd seconds, but that's just my opinion
@rolandkarlsson7072
@rolandkarlsson7072 8 ай бұрын
@@gordonnottsfinest180 Personally, I think it is a matter if I feel that the reactor knows what he/she is doing and has some kind of reason for stopping. I have seen several times when someone hears a particular thing in a solo and stops to point it out, and maybe explain it. That works for me. Moreover, it is so different. Som hates stops in solos and some stops in some other part, like some singing. I can tell you one example that annoys me. In the new live Lovebites video of "The Hammer of Wrath" there is a section where there is a triple solo. First Midori on guitar, then Miyako on guitar and then Fami on bass. Most reactors do listen to the two guitar solos, then they wait some seconds and then they stop. Many are so concentrated on Midori and Miyako so they totally miss that there is a bass solo. Some hear it and then the bass solo is clipped in the middle. They never go back. Which is a pity, because there both is a solo and a very nice communication between Fami and Asami that is totally missed this way.

You are correct about the two lead guitarists. Midori (ESP) was recognised (at the time of the performance in this video) the (slightly) faster, more technical player, while Miyako (Dean - who is also a concert level pianist) was considered to play with more "feel" or "emotion". However, as of today, Miyako has basically caught up with Midori and matches her techincal speed and precision. The only area that I think Midori still holds a slight edge over Miyako is with her control of the whammy bar. The dive bombs and wobbles that Midori produces are god-level. But they are both elite musicians, and their different styles complement each other perfectly. In almost every one of their 60 original songs, you will hear double guitar lead breaks followeed up with some harmonised playing.

Super Strat Lady is maybe a bit better at shredding, but Dean ML Lady is way better when it comes to "feeling" like Gary Moore style bluesy solos. And she is especially better when it comes to playing the piano. Watch "Swan Song w. Chopin Intro" for that. Oh and for your ending comments .. i just looked through your videos and i don't see any Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Ad Infinitum .. to name just some off the most popular symphonic metal bands. You’ve had the most talented band playing today drop into your lap. Your three minute judgement of guitar prowess will come back to haunt you. Two years is an eternity in LOVEBITES time, and Miyako (Dean) spent a good deal of that time playing catchup to Midori in the speed stakes. What she has always had, in spades, is feeling. She lists, among others, Gary Moore and Ritchie Blackmore as influences, and both of those guitarists never (played) a piece the same way two nights running. Add to that the fact that she is a concert level classically trained pianist with 30 years experience who decided to play the guitar at age 18 and is mostly self taught, the fact that she wrote the song you just reacted to and is a genius in terms of bringing classical influences to her compositions AND has to practice both guitar and piano daily to maintain and improve her playing AND is going to perform a matinee and evening piano recital in Tokyo on November 19th when she will play her superb arrangements of metal songs on piano and you may wish to send an appreciative “apology” her way for your undue haste. It’s great that you have given this amazing band another platform and I hope by now that they have your mom’s approval…as she is one year younger than me…🙂

@@BraindeadBreakdown No need to apologise. At the time this performance was filmed. Midori (ESP) was generally recognised as being the (slightly) faster and more technical guitarist. Welcome to the realm of the Wolfpack (Lovebites fans around the world) ! As to who is "better", that depends on context. Midori, the blonde with the ESP, her nickname is "The Crazy Shredder", and she is very technical and can certainly shred extremely fast. She can definitely give any of the best lead guitarists now and in history a run for their money. Miyako, the brunette with the Dean ML, her nickname is "The Golden Touch", and arguably (note, arguably...) she has slightly more finesse and "emotional touch" to her play. Gary Moore is one of her influences. You will realize this when you listen to more of their discography of about 60 songs. Enjoy your Lovebites journey !

Its not a skill contest between Midori and Myako. Lovebites has two virtuoso guitarist who each bring their own unique style to the group. Miyako (Dean Lady) is as close to being a Prince level musican as you can get, without blaspheming Mr Nelson. She's a classically trained pianist from age 3 and can also play bass ad well as drums at a high level. As far as the guitar goes, she was self taught at 18 from an instruction manual, and by 20 was writing along with producing metal music. The first metal song she ever learned by ear was Master Of Puppets, and within a year had a practice routine that included learning note for note music by Gary Moore, Paul Gilbert and Yngie Malmsteen. I'm not going to assume your guitar journey, but accomplishing that level of skill in less than 2 years is not common or routine. This also in no way disparages the skill set of Midori, or as you may say "ESP Lady"; she is also highly trained. My whole point is Lovebites isn't about a duelling guitar competition. This band has a 40+ song catalogue where every song is unique in its own way with not one song being average, in my humble opinion. I say that as a lover of all music with 35 years experience as amateur guitarist (play for personal joy) who considers Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Alex Skolnik and Rocky George as my personal top 4 guitarist; and Prince the most gifted composer of my lifetime. Lovebites is truly a one of a kind musical group that has elite musicians on all instruments, including vocals. There are a lot of great elements in how drummer Haruna accents vocals and instruments, how bassist Miho holds the rythm and writes fills, the versatility of Asami's vocals, Midori's perfection with dissonance, and Miyako's ability to incorporate blues and piano into thrash metal. Those are just the stsndard bits and does not include many hidden musical gems. All this can be easily missed and go unappreciated if your focus is on something as mundane as "best solo". This isn't like picking out your favorite Spice Girl. Lovebites has plenty to offer, especially for a trained musician who can appreciate the way they approach song composition. Hope you continue and enjoy your Lovebites journey with open ears.

@@BraindeadBreakdown Miyako, the dark haired one, is my favorite musician, ever. She plays piano as good as she plays guitar, and she composed around 1/2 of Lovebites catalog. Midori is a shredder, plain and simple. When the band was on hiatus and searching for a new bassist, Miyako took lessons from Midori to get faster. The new album Judgement Day reflects Miyako's speed improvement, although she is more known for more melodic playing. It's why I suggested the song "Judgement Day". "Break the Wall" live from Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 is my favorite live recorded thrash song. The solo section is amazing, and really highlights the different playing styles between the two. Really good guitar feel or ear! It's soooo tight, but, yes, Midori is a fully trained guitarist, a guitarist trained in music studies and Miyako has - not entirely true - but has more or less taught herself the instrument of the guitar - which for the absolute majority of all guitarists in the world must be very painful because they will never reach this level - but, Miyako also has a completed music degree in piano and there will be songs by Lovebites, you will hear and see it. Above I wrote "not completely correct" that with teaching the guitar yourself, because when studying music you always have to play more than one instrument and I assume that at least the acoustic guitar was included as a second or third instrument and Miyako then took that Electric guitar stuff taught by herself in incredibly good quality. But please never forget me vocals, bass and drums - what Asami, Miho (later Fami) and my beloved Haruna - who, for me, is the best drummer in the music business at the moment - are doing - unbelievable!

Well, my friend, you seem to have stumbled into the Japanese metal scene, and my God, once you're here, it's hard to leave. So, choose your flavour: Lovebites, world class power/thrash metal, at a level I don't think I've ever ever come across. Band-Maid, world class "hard rock", though it's impossible to really boil it down to that in all honesty, it's far too technically complex to call it that. Nemophila, world class modern metal, pick your subgenre, they play it and they play it to an incredible standard. Dexcore, world class metalcore/deathcore with the chunkiest breakdowns ever recorded (check out their video for Brain Washing, Jesus Christ) Deviloof, the heaviest and most maniacal music being recorded anywhere on earth right now (and yes, I'm aware that both Slaughter to Prevail and Lorna Shore exist, my point still stands) Hanabie, probably the most unique band on the list, because it's impossible to categorise their genre. Metalcore, Hardcore, EDM, Rap and Hip hop all at once, a truly unique experience. This is just the surface, keep going and it's undeniably the most incredible, varied and vibrant metal scene on earth currently.

My current top 5 bands are: Lovebites, Scandal, Nemohila, Band-Maid and Rolling Quartz (K-Rock - Korean). I've been to Scandal and Rolling Quartz concerts and its such a blast, great musicianship and atmosphere. I've been to BabyMetal as well, but I do not consider them all female band, more performance oriented group, much like Wgamama Rakia or Passcode, which are excellent as well. These bands get a lot of views too, so enjoy it all :)

Yeah in 2021 Midori was better guitarist than Miyako, but at the same time Miyako was way better musician than Midori. Also Miyako is constantly improving, year by year she is getting noticeably better and better, and now they are very close in therms of playing guitar, basically on the same level. It's worth pointing out that Miyako is self taught (at age 19 she picked up a book and a guitar and taught herself how to play), while Midori was a student in esp guitar school. It just show you how insanely talented Miyako really is.

The Iron Maidens and Zepparella are really great female heavy metal bands. But they are cover bands, not comparable to LOVEBITES who play 99% of their own songs. I think you are a guitar freak and I know we will have a lot of fun the next time. Believe me, you have to hear these two female guitarists. Don't judge their skills on the first song. They have different styles, in the end you will say: they are both equally good and already belong to the best of all times.🤘🤘 Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany 2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England 2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium 2019 - Download Festival in Spain. In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. At the time of this concert, you are correct. Midori was better than Miyako on the guitar. Honestly, not by much. Most bands would have loved to have either of them as a lead. During their two year break, before finding a new bassist, Miyako practiced. She is a world class classical pianist. She literally brought her guitar skills up to the same level as her piano skills, which is quite impressive. Today, you honestly can't tell the difference in their speed. However, Miyako is a true composer. She composes a lot of their music. Consequently, she thinks more melodically than Midori. Therefor, even now, her solos are more composed and melodic than Midori's. Hence their nicknames. Midori is the crazy shredder, and Miyako is the golden touch. Pull up anything off of their latest album, Judgement day, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Still, at this time in their development, I would agree with you.

Thanks for your reaction. Sorry, but a little criticism. Maybe it’s better to first carefully watch (listen to) a new song for you, and only then draw conclusions? Believe me, if you watched this video without pauses (lots of pauses, especially during the guitar solos), you would like the song and the band even more. The two guitarists, Midori (blonde) and Miyako (brunette), are approximately equal in terms of technical skill, equal as professionals. Although each of them has its own style, its own handwriting. You can see this if you check out more LOVEBITES songs. Since 2017, LOVEBITES has released 58 original songs and musical compositions + 3 covers (HALESTORM, HELLOWEEN, JUDAS PRIEST) + more than 10 piano covers (classical music, rock).

Because for three years now LOVEBITES has been the #1 band on my list of favorite bands. I also read comments from viewers, including fans of LOVEBITES (Wolf Pack) from different countries. Based on my experience, I can assure you that the Wolf Pack is generally very welcoming to newcomers. The fans are very loyal to the band and adore these talented ladies. If you continue your journey into the World of LOVEBITES, then as a musician you will understand why fans love this band. It's true that sometimes fan comments can seem like unhelpful criticism to the new Reactor. But believe me, the fans do not want to offend the new Reactor. They make critical remarks (sometimes harsh) for only one purpose. Fans want to help Reactor better understand LOVEBITES and get the most out of the band's music. In their comments, they tell the newcomer about the band, its members, songs, discography, achievements, etc. Try to be understanding about this. Then you will receive a lot of useful information. You will be able to get acquainted with the songs of the band, which you could pass by without the help of fans. Fans will become your volunteer assistants and guides on your journey to the World of LOVEBITES. Believe me, this band has many masterpieces. LOVEBITES play speed, progressive, thrash, power, neoclassical metal. Some songs contain elements of symphonic metal and hard rock. Ladies often mix these genres.They also play classical music (piano), including at concerts. Who knows, maybe you will also become a fan of LOVEBITES after some time?! In regards to your edit in your description: DO NOT let the fans of this band, or the fans of the other female Japanese bands, bully you into censoring your opinion. These bands are great (just not as "revolutionary" as their fans think), but their fans have made it nearly impossible to talk about them objectively, and shaming and scolding anyone who doesn't agree that they are the BEST EVER. And lack of critical discussion is hurting these bands. This isn't rock anymore, and it's not about the music, it's marketing and brand loyalty. And these musicians deserve better than to be the "pets" of middle aged men. They deserve better than to be put on pedestals like dolls, they deserve better than to be treated as "pristine" and therefore isolated from their peers and predecessors. They're great; they're not "special." They're fantastic musicians; they're not "generational talents." And they should be subjected to the same critical standards of every other artist; anything less than that is a disservice to the artists themselves. They deserve better than the fawning devotion of their fans, they deserve the same critical scrutiny of every other act. And the audience should be allowed to engage in fair criticism without being bullied by middle aged men who want to be the rock Swifties.

Thanks for the reaction. A couple of constructive points if that's alright. 1. Maybe the band could be a little louder. It was pretty quiet. 2. We can easily hear your comments while the band is playing so you really don't have to have it set up so that every time you say something it cuts the volume of the band. That is very annoying. 3. If I could be so bold, maybe you could wait until the lead parts are finished before you stop the song to comment on them. There is a certain flow to them that gets badly interrupted when you keep stopping them in the middle. Thanks. Please don't take these suggestions as a negative thing.
