I sincerely hope you do build your own camper van, the one you have leaves a lot to be desired. Many like myself have built their own campers and we have permanent 240v, plenty of leisure batter amps, lots of solar watts, a 12v compressor chest fridge/freezer, 240v electric cooking hobs and never need to plug into an EHU.... Yes in UK. on a plus note, enjoyed the pan au chocalat air fryer sketch. PS. those power banks are useless to a capable campervan, more suited to the overnighter or weekend warrior. Keep the vids coming, Me and Shirl just subscribed.

Regarding your comment about only using power packs in any future build, yes it suits some people but we never have to worry about running out of anything. When I built our van we put in underslung LPG tank and a diesel heater so we only use electric, from two leisure batteries, for low powered items, lights and telle etc. We do a lot of cooking and use the heater a lot in the winter with no problems. Also our set up is a lot cheaper than having a several 'power banks' that are easily stolen.

On our first big adventure, NC500, in our little old van I had a problem with keeping the 85Ah leisure battery topped up (later found a problemm with the alternator). My fridge runs off the leisure battery. My 100W solar panel wasn't doing the job either. My son a 570W solar array, 220Ah batteries ana a good alternator so we plgged my electric hook up into an inverter and in to his van - worked a treat. We have to be quite careful with leisure battery life but I now have a working alternator and a 220W solar panel, they seem to do the job. We only have heat when we're on an electric hook up! Love the cream egg croissant idea, might have to try something similatr in the ridgemonkey!
