Power Law 7 in the Sopranos: Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power

In this episode we will be evaluating the seventh of Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power in the Sopranos through the lens created by an analogy and an historical example from the chapter. We will be working our way up the pyramid of vultures and evaluating such characters as Brendan Filone, Matthew Bevilaqua, Sean Gismonte, Christopher Moltisanti, Richie Aprile, Paulie Walnuts, Ralph Cifaretto, Vito Spatafore, Silvio Dante, Tony Soprano, Johnny Sack and Carmine Sr.

This may be a longshot, but maybe because he was from a different background, Hesh could be considered as an emissary. Can't give out orders, but is immune from them. However, he wants the pyramid to function because he benefits from it.

i think a machiavellian monday on carmine might be a little redundant or lacking of examples, considering the fact that his rise to power happened long ago and we get to see none of it. A character analysis would probably be better.

Vito’s coming out revealed his greatest weakness - he was absolutely reckless. He should have been more discreet overall and he should have stopped attending gay clubs as soon as Finn saw him. A boss like him would not have handled the Tony B vs Phill or Ralph vs John crisis any better than Tony S. Perhaps even worse. The same goes for Ralph, he couldn’t care less about what’s safe to do in his position and what is not, he was even more reckless than Vito.

The rules are great to know but you must build your life according to your personality Type Carmine Jr was a very Open and agreeable Person also a Bit creative so He makes porn and Clubs Richie Aprile was Not agreeable at all Not Open but he was ruthless so He could have been very usefull but He couldn't respect Tony.
