BFCO and Marcy may have been lifted by Arnold and other 80's bodybuilders, which is cool. But they are pretty common and pop up for sale every few months. Not that rare imo. Powermasters surface like a lunar eclipse🌘😅😅😅😅

Rhose look like cool plates. How are they for hubbing?

I haven’t hubbed one yet. I’ll get there. But when I got them, they had chalk on the hubs so the previous owner had been giving it a shot.

Have you tried searching old telephone books at the Monroeville library for the name Power Master? You might find a factory or gym address, maybe even an ad.

Love the channel. Respect from the other side of PA. However, not sure about the background music. Not as bad as some channels but not sure if it is needed.

I appreciate the feedback. I only started trying out background music in my last couple videos. I’m not sure if I like it or not haha. So you may see it disappear. I don’t have any training in audio/film. I’m learning as I go. Thanks so much for watching!

$400-$500! Seems like an over -valuation, unless connected to some unique iron history. Where would plates have been casted in Monroeville in the 1970s? Are their any current places left that have this capability? Also, don't think plates were connected to a gym, if so, would not have changed from Olympic to Olympian?

Thanks for watching! That’s a good point about the gym concerning Olympic/Olympian. Like I said in the video, I haven’t found any concrete facts yet. So just a hunch. As for foundries, there were several near Pittsburgh. Pitt Barbell had their plates made in Pennsylvania for a while for example, but I’m not aware of any deep dish in their case. The valuation is just my opinion. Mars, Sisco, and Schmidt deep dish all regularly sell for much more than $400-$500, and no one knows much of anything about any of those companies. So in my opinion, historical background matters, but it’s not the be all end all.

🤔Over valuation? I dunno. I think if someone is looking to buy a pair, and you can't find any for sale except one person, I guess it boils down to availability, and how much $ someone is willing to pay for them if they like them..... There's a pair on mercari app.
