Everytime I board any flight, I only chant the Gayatri mantra. I heard that this mantra protects from accidents, even if one person is chanting the Gayatri in the plane, all the passengers are saved. I had heard this many years back in either one of the videos by brother Arvind or brother Bishu who have done many series of Gayatri Mantra. Well sir I want to tell my experience I live in Bangalore My nephew who is in California USA was suffering from high fever 102degrees. Why not chant aloud? If it helps to focus and keep mind on God, chant aloud. Make sure it is not disturbing anyone, like a sleeping baby… that’s all I feel

I would hazard the guess that our friend Aravind felt that a channel named after himself did not reflect his intent for the channel. He wishes to put forward the teachings of Sathya Sai, as understood by one man who earnestly seeks to study those teachings. The name "Aravind" may be the name used by that man in day to day interactions but while meeting him you may see that he seeks earnestly to live those teachings for those who have not had that opportunity, most people using youtube, the channel title now communicates that this is about Baba and/or his teachings. As Baba says his life is his message I am not sure if he is different from his teachings.

10:26 Your statement about vitamin D is misleading dear Aravind. Vitamin D is absolutely able to be taken in from external sources. In many countries cows' milk is fortified with vitamin D and there is some in egg yolk and in mushrooms grown under ultraviolet lamps so vegetarians can ingest it from food but less easily for vegans who are often lacking if they do not get enough sunlight. It is also found in fish and beasts for those who have not adopted a vegetarian diet. It is extremely common to find vitamin D tablets and to find vitamin D in multi-vitamin supplements. Some of the tablets contain in excess of the daily tolerable limit and taking a few of these tablets each day over a period of weeks or months can easily lead to vitamin D toxicity, one effect of which can be, short of miraculous intervention, irreversible kidney failure. The part about which you are marginally but dubiously correct is that the form of vitamin D in tablets and food is inactive. This inactive form has to be converted by the liver and kidneys to the active form. However, exposure to sunlight synthesises this same inactive form which also has to be converted by the organs in exactly the same way. In both cases, sunlight synthesis or ingestion, the same amount of inactive form can be in blood serum but have no useful effect if the liver and kidneys are malfunctioning and failing to produce the active form. But for that, it is still misleading to say that vitamin D cannot be taken in to the body from external sources like diet, supplement and injection as these sources all produce the same result as vitamin D synthesis upon exposure to adequate sunlight.
