I was chanting Gayatri mantra 108 times during sunrise and sunset for almost 10 years from 1st STD till 10th without knowing what it is or why am I doing it. But whatever things I dreamt in my mind I was getting it very easily. After 10th I went to another city going away from family for higher studies and I left sandhyavandane and Gayatri mantra. After 8 years with so many downs in my life including Sade sath I got to know the reality I listened to many gurus and understood the value of Gayatri mantra now I'm chanting it daily 108 times during sunrise and sunset. It really turns your dreams into reality I swear but the proper way to chant is by closing your mouth and keeping your tongue still. You should chant Gayatri mantra in your mind and produce vibrations inside your body. And there is a proper pronunciation for that mantra not the one you hear in that famous audio sung by a lady the real pronunciation is different and it's very vibrant. Try to learn that pronunciation and chant it in your head keeping your tongue still and lips closed. 5-10minutes before sunrise and 5-10 minutes after sunset is the best time to chant it.

Only saying Jai Krishna and reciting gayatri mantra wont help, be a moral deovtee of Shri Krishna. A devotee of Krishna akways love Krishna. There is no need for any other mantra except the name of Hari Govind. In Bhagwad Geeta Shri Krishan explains to Arjuna the value of moral devotion towards Him. Bhagvad Geeta Chapter 14: मां च योऽव्यभिचारेण भक्तियोगेन सेवते | स गुणान्समतीत्यैतान्ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्पते | It means those who worship Me only (avaybhichari bhakti yog) rise above the three modes of material nature and come to the level of the Brahman. Why people are still in bondage of maya and darkness is because their worship is immoral (Devotion divided into multiple gods of different kind). Worship only One Supreme Being the Lord of all gods and Devine Nature Shri Hari Govind and look no other way. That is the perfect path of self realisation and ultimately God realisation. I am a Satsangi thats why I love only One God.

Gayatri mantra practitioner bestowed with 24 channels (24 devta Shakti) activation in the body which helps in positive manifestation. In bhagwat Geeta, Shri Krishna said he is Gayatri himself. Also for research minded students - if someone sees Abraham Maslow (Psychologist) self-actualization qualities and compares with 24 shaktis of Gayatri mantra then it overpowered the theory of Self-actualization by Maslow.

What a delight to hear how you explain this in a such a logical way. I have known Gayatri mantra for the last 42 years of my 68 years of life.I was enlightened of this mantra in an ignorance state of mind in an overnight after attending a Gayatri yagna performed in my parents house in Navratri time in the UK where I have lived most of my life. After attending for maximum of 1\2 hour for which I was completely new to this and only able to say Om and Swann whilst giggling with friends I left to go to community Garba held nearby. That night when I went to bed whilst sleeping I could hear the words spoken over the jag a which I did not understand . This carried on during my awakening hours non stop. That night was the second night of the yagna at our family home so I asked the poojari what are these words that are continuously repeated and he gave me a small booklet which which had the Gayatri Mantra in Gujarati and in English with explanation of the meaning. That day is the day of my rebirth I believe because all I wanted was to be able to read the words and to get my tongue around to pronounce these correctly was the only desire I had. These repetition of the words and sounds of the initial yagna sounds kept repeating inside my head like a smoke in a room. Whatever I did outside in my life for long period of time it stayed in my head. As time went by I became a person who had an increase desire to know more knowledge about Gayatri. My strength my inner self knows that without this knowledge of Gayatri Mantra my life would be nothing as every step is Mataji’s guidance. Omg you have just explained the enlightenment of Gayatri Mantra I was blessed with over 40 years ago at the time of having Havan that was taking place in my parents house during Navratri. What you have just said I have experienced word for word how Gayatri Mantra. I had heard of Gayatri Mantra or hearing Sanskrit words in my life being bought up in London. Having heard the Mantra overnight I became interested and approached the poojari to ask him what is this you keep repeating as the night before after hearing this it has been playing on my mind all day like a nonstop record that does not turn off. He then gave me Gayatri Mantra and Chalupa book in Gujarati and under this transalation and Meaning in English. Gayatri Mantra grew on me and took over my mind and lifestyle for the better it changed my life and gave me tremendous strength and self esteem.I feel my character my thinking has been transformed by its guidance and you’re right whatever I desired came into reality without having asked.
