It's actually biologically possible for a cat to have kittens with two different fathers, so I like the idea that Lion and Jay are littermates, and it kinda messes everything up for everyone. Like the fire scene is Ashfur forcing Squilf to admit that Jay is his and not Brambleclaw's son.

I had a similar AU idea, with Jayfeather being Ashfur and Squirrelflight's kit, Lionblaze being Leafpool and MothWing's and Hollyleaf is from Crowfeather and Nightcloud, as a direct sibling to Breezepelt, since he canonically has two dead siblings, so I thought it'd be cool for one of them to have just gone missing and get adopted into the three, as well as being an explanation as to why she had no powers.

Imagine if Jayfeather fought to remain a warrior, and Ashfur was his mentor (while not knowing he's the baby dad - could be a 2 dad 1 litter situation and its just assumed all the kits were Bramble's) and so Jayfeather has an arc when he learns that he's the son of Ashfur during the fire scene. Maybe he became a medicine cat mid-apprenticeship and so learning his mutations were a punishment for Squilf's infidelity not only shakes his relationship with Squilf, but StarClan as well for.punishing him for the crime he did not commit.

I love Jayfeather's design! I want to see cats with mutations more in the series, like as an omen or something. I have a few Warriors OCs with nonfatal mutations like 4 ears or extra eyes, but since Warriors is a fantasy series you could technically go wild and give a cat an extra mouth or something.

Makes me curious about the fire scene. He wanted to kill the kits originally because they were brambles and squilfs kits. Now that lion is actually their kit, how would ash react? Surely he would at least spare his own son and holly since she wasnt from either of squilf or bramble, but there had to have been more to it with lion at least.

I’ve been obsessed with Tallstar and Jake lately so I made an AU where Jake joins WC taking the name FlameLeap (still not set with the name feel free to leave suggestions!) and FireStar is never born and replaced with a kit Jake and Tallstar adopt named AcornKit (that’s abt all I have so far but I now I want AcornKit to join TC in the future)

My only question I can think of currently is 1. How does the clan come to terms with this? Same with jayfeather, (assuming ashfur also tries to kill him in the fire scene before squilf tried to stop him.) because his bio dad literally tried to kill him before squilf spilled the beans that jay was ashfurs while lion was brambles, I would imagine he would have frequent identity crisiss. Also how would lionblaze accept the fact his brother would be ashfurs son? Would he be pissed royaly off? Or would he just got "meh, experienced worse ngl"?

the au map has just been reopened so it's not finished yet! thank you, squirrelflight broke up with ashfur and either had jayfeather OR more likely her litter was from both bramblestar and ashfur as somebody pointed out is possible, so they were both born at the same time:)
