ZOPA (Zone of Possible Agreement) is a concept in that helps negotiators set realistic expectations and find a common ground for a mutually beneficial agreement. If there is no ZOPA, the chances of reaching an agreement are negligible. The effective negotiators try to expand the ZOPA for win-win outcomes.
