That's why the Boros fight was special for me after i rewatched both seasons. Sure Boros was still no match for Saitama and he was basically only on defense but him looking almost shoked after Boros "only" losing an arm from a punch felt different. It's the first time you could see an emotion during a fight apart from him forgetting the grocery sale. Imo still the best fight in the whole series so far.

In most action themed animes strength is something that everyone wants. But no anime has ever dove deep to give a different perspective of what if the protagonist gained TOO MUCH power.
