Pro tip: Try using the crack shot weapon loadout that gives you the sniper rifle and the ap pistol. And don't forget the important step in this video which is to disable the power of cayo island that will disable the lights and cameras

When you take out the cameras at night the guards cones are small enough that you can actually just walk though the main checkpoint without having to kill any of them.

I only do cayo at night. Makes it seem more realistic. And I never even attempt the elite crap. Since I don’t need the money, it’s just for fun and I take my bloody time.

I don't need the money either but I still go for double cocaine and elite challenge and hard mode everytime. I always get clothes and a truck too so I definitely don't rush. Still 15 minutes is a lot of time I usually get under 12. But hey we all play the way we want no biggie

That big cone that goes over the compound in the mini map isn't a glitch or random, it's what the mini map does when the guards have been alerted to your presence because of a dead body discovered. It happens after you take the target, but you've killed someone who is in the patrol route of the new guards that spawn. It's nearly 100% of the time, the guy on the catwalk on the western most side of the compound which travels back and forth about 25 - 30 feet in one straight line back and forth between the catwalk and the most western walkway (which starts at the top of the stairs by the jacuzzi area and ends in the area with the panther cages). No matter where you kill that guy (whether on the most eastern point of his patrol which is on the catwalk, or the most western part of his patrol which is in the walkway), his dead body will alert the new guards that spawn after taking the target. There's nothing you can do about it, so just don't kill that guy. There is also a guy in the main courtyard at the main gate whose dead body can alert guards that spawn after the target is taken, so careful killing them before taking the target, as well.

I did cayo for the first time a couple days ago and i tried killing the guy outside the gate to take his bike and escape but somehow the guards found his body. Anything I can do about it ?

@@richiknair9036 When you kill him and take the bike, head due west to the road and you will see a guy in a jeep driving past, ride up behind him and he'll slow down to stop and set off the alarm, but that makes it super easy to shoot him in the head before he comes to a full stop. He is the one who sets off the alarm as he will drive to where the guy with the bike is moments later.

Something that can shave seconds off your time, instead of going all the way to the bottom, go at a diagonal line from where the helicopter is and there is a dip in the map that makes it a lot shorter, when you jump off the motorcycle. Dismount and you won't take any money loss as well as recover faster. It feels like to start swimming again, keep these up though. We love it!

Hi, Taco Do the cayo perico heist in first persoon maybe iets harder maybe it’s easier. But you have to start at the main dock and and at the airstrip. Good luck if you try.

I'm pretty sure your guns have flashlights on them. Also when there's two guards looking at each other come in from the side and use your melee button (circle on ps) when your close. Sometimes it will even automatically do both for you. A lot of times the jeeps and even a couple guards have no cones until they're close

This is great for pacifist cat burglar in the compound. Then if you get in main gate in good time, you can always get elite even if you get spotted looting secondaries before leaving the island.

Noob here. I've successfully done this heist 3 times now. I just did the initial intel run for a 4th try, but trying to figure out how to go about it. There's a guard uniform in the pilot waiting area by the airstrip but only 3 stashes of cash in that area. There is also a grappling hook south of the solar panels near the power station. There is cash, 1 green stuff and a supply truck at the main dock area with bolt cutters just across the water from the main dock area. There is also another secondary loot location at main dock I didn't get to because I got caught when I didn't pay close enough attention to a jeep's movement (and I was too impatient to sneak back and try again). At the farm, there is one white stuff and one stash of cash as well as another bolt cutter under the nearby sniper tower. Because of my impatience (and having other chores around home to do), I have no idea what is at the central area or the north dock. Primary loot is Ruby Necklace (first time with something other than Tequila ... not counting first time for Madrazo files of course). Thoughts?

Forgot to say, no paintings in main office, though there are 3 gold stashes in 3 of the storage rooms (never tried one of those, they require 2 people for all?). There is a painting and more cash also in the storage rooms.

Istg this game is so broken. Like I did the heist today solo. It was the same stupid antique bottle of sinsimito and after waiting for 144 minutes, when Pavel send me that message, I thought maybe this time I’ll get something else. Perhaps a diamond necklace or bearer bonds or the diamond itself. But when I reached that communication tower, it was this stupid tequila again. So I went back, canceled the heist, tried to setup again and got the same target again and I am so done now. Like wtf is wrong. Instead of making those guard AI better why can’t they fix the loot

It is a 60% chance you'll get tequila so you get it a lot. If you wait a few days after you complete the heist there will be a 0% chance of tequila so maybe wait a few days? I honestly don't mind what I get because I do it so often but I feel your pain for sure!

Another great video :D btw. when swimming at the 3 mines, just a bit further is a whale corpse, if you swim for that, it usually finishes as you reach that one ;) also the cellar guard that has a cone that covers the map, i usually only see him in cases of having killed the red cone guard that patrols from the secluded gate area and back to the stairs where Juggernaught walks past, and ofc i kill that guard in the secluded area at the gate ;)
