Malex, past and present, was being discovered by different people around them and Guerin was claiming to have moved on. Alex wanted to stay on the dl and kept pushing Guerin away. Guerin was talking to Isobel about how he loved Alex but Alex hurts him. Nobody was buying that Guerin had moved on, though, not even Maria.
