Nobody can do a damn book justice like you. Most people would take a glance at this omnibus and laugh it off, but you break it down for what it is. I'll be buying this for sure as I'm only familiar with the Powers because of the X-men crossovers.

Another great review. Power pack blew my 9yr old mind when it arrived in 84. Loved it so much. Sorely tempted to get a pre order on. But last time I revisited it via Unlimited it had dated quite a lot. But I do love me some Tattle tale. Edit: finished the review. You’ve done it again and I’m getting this. And gonna channel 9yr old me.

Another great Omar video. I’ll be happily passing on this though. Never liked them when I was a kid and not going to change my mind 30 plus years later. I hope whoever is into this enjoys it and helps show marvel that they need to print more obscure characters and books like this one.

So much time has passed since this video and also since I bought this. I saw on my purchase history that I bought it on December 26, 2020, and it came on January 4. It is one of the first Omnis I bought and found out late about those books. I saw letters pages on here. I bought some early issues from Ebay that did not have a letters page anyway. I saw issue 33 which i bought from Ebay has a letters page that has sunspot on the cover has one though. The letters page is titled, "Pick of the Pack" like in the extras I thought I had recognized. I wonder if it was the one with a letters page and why it is in the extras and not at the end of the issue it came from. Not even the New Mutants Omnibus vol one did that. It seems like most of the Omnis with comics from the 80's do not include their letters like even Peter David comics. I saw in the Incredible Hulk, and X-Factor He did. I saw Spiderman might though but not even in Cloak and Dagger and Doctor Strange. Not even Moon Night. Just thought later to say that My first issue of Power Pack had that picture of Franklin Richards on the cover, and which was also in the extras. I also and the issue with Cloak and Dagger and that villain or almost a villain who was also in Captain America. I saw he was in a second issue of Cap after I saw it in the Captain Americal Epic Collection. It was in 307 or so.

Great preview. Seems they’ve found a way to avoid gutter loss without the need for an “eye” in omniboo. Are such built sturdier than those with large “eyes”?

Hey Omar. I think the runaway pics you were thinking of may have been a house ad for the Mutant Registration Act/ Massacre that showed some kids and Franklin, who was spray-painted over with “mutie”. It was a play on the old 70s ad, “Do you know where your children are?”
@NearMintCondition4 жыл бұрын
That one was in there brother. This is the one I was thinking of: 1.bp.blogspot.com/-mT-ZHnAUHMk/TtjMIp9KBOI/AAAAAAAAGK0/TGonk9J6YRc/s1600/spider-man-power-pack.jpg

That was great. Sabertooth saw them as easy prey and they beat the snot out of him forcing him to run away! Funny thing is wolverine would show up after that then scold the kids for getting in danger when they where the ones beating him! People forget this team of kids have fought thor level bad guys, cosmic bad guys, monsters and even death herself! They are not pushovers! Thor steals the show in that crossover also with the bad guys running away from thor like he is a monster! It was great to see the bad guy running scared from the hero like a movie monster! Nice twist on that. Thor was great in that crossover.

Not sure if I’ll get day one, but looking forward to this book. I was at a con a while back and some vendor had a huge number of those Spidey and Power Pack PSA comics, so they were literally giving them out. Was funny seeing tons of folks having Louise sign them before having Walt sign something they brought. While I’m at it, we def need X-Factor Judgment War in OHC.

Power Pack was one of my favorite Marvel Comics growing up. I read those books quite a lot in Elementary and Middle School. Glad to know there's an Omnibus for it. I remembered an important Spider-Man and Power Pack book that focused on standing up against child abuse. I love the amount of crossovers with characters like Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. I also like the important issues Marvel Comic Books like Power Pack, X-Men, Spider-Man, Cloak and Dagger and Psi-Force showed. I'm going to buy the Omnibus soon.

This is my personal opinion on when the power pack members were born both from Earth-616 and Earth-5631 Earth-616: Alex Powers- 2012 Julie Powers- 2014 Jack Powers- 2016 Katie Powers- 2018 Franklin Richards- 2017 Earth-5631: Alex Powers- 2010 Julie Powers- 2012 Jack Powers- 2014 Katie Powers- 2016 Franklin Richards- 2015 Ps: It's been confirmed that the Power Pack of Earth-5631 are 2-3 years older than the Power Pack of Earth-616.
