8:37, Dubov blundered! From winning to losing in a second...
@sqlsrijon20403 ай бұрын
what move he should give that time? the bar shows he was winning
@QuCaNi3 ай бұрын
@@sqlsrijon2040 I guess Nxh6+ and if gxh6 you have f5 winning back the piece. EDIT: I checked it, Nxh6+ is a good move and White stays slightly better, but there is a much stronger sequence of moves which is like impossible to find. The line goes Rxg6! Nxg6 and then Qg3 attacking the knight. It turns out that moving the knight allows Nxd5 regaining the exchange since obviously Qxd5? Bb3 is the idea. And defending the knight is only possible with Kh7 (best move) when Bc2 sets up nasty things on the diagonal. Kf7 instead of Kh7 again allows Nxd5, but also the very brutal Be8+!!.

What a cool and complicated game. One thing I've noticed about Ding is that he is really good at taking advantage of his oponents mistakes. He rarely misses those

Honestly it felt like Ding was just playing solid looking moves to survive and thus had a losing position after a while. He did capitalize on his one chance though.

It’s lots of work to comment. I believe everyday he picks ONE game to comment, which he will have to study, check alternatives for every position, and understand how to narrate in a thrilling and educative way, then record it more then once till it sounds great. It’s impossible to do so EVERY game in such a big tournament. 😉 Thank you Sagar for posting these commentless videos too, at least we can watch them. ☺️
