A little confusing with the engines at the propellers. Are these steam-engines, which will provide rotation for the propellers and also engine-power? Like the jet-engines which will ususally provide thrust, but can also provide power or electrical energy?

So yeah, engine power is a mysterious force that works parallel with steam kinetic shaft energy and all of those can be converted to electric power and then converted to engine power via electric engines.... GREAT, don't ask, just learn haha, got a CJE tutorial that covers all aspects of it too if you are into that ;)

Gmodism, would you be willing to do a review of spudcubs "Broadside" overhaul mod for FtD? Personally I try to build naturally buoyant ships so losing power doesn't mean I'm sinking. But that also means my ships don't go above a certain size or armor thickness.

I don't think I will because it's a big change and not so popular, I will keep learning modern FtD instead and keep up with changes :) Yeah I also like buoyant ships, but the water-pumps cause lag for large ships, so my new large ships will not float anymore since I can't make them naturally buoyant and have good armour at once without using the lagging water pumps :)

@@GMODISM Then do you know of any alternative for someone who doesn't like the big craft meta, or wants a game where you could build your own faction for a RTS, like old FtD was? Cause right now campaign feels like, "save up for big doomsday ship then steam roll". I don't rely on pumps all that often, I typically use alloy for the transverse bulkheads of whatever ship or craft I'm building, as well as the interior decks. But as I said I typically don't build big craft due to that as well.
