Merging queries in Excel using Power Query is very similar to the use of VLOOKUP in Excel, with the difference that we can cross data from an Excel file and a text file or table from a database with many records, even without being in an Excel file
The purpose of Merge Queries will be to add the First and Last columns of the vendor file to the sales table. We would do the same with VLOOKUP to return those two columns to the sales table.
