It's almost guaranteed to be nerfed. Permanent boon uptime with a giant radius and no concentration gear is: 🤣 Other supports are wearing tons of Ritualist/Harrier/Minstrel/Diviner to keep up their boons. My guess is they'll force support Herald to do the same.

@@crow_buddythose other supports do the same or almost the same DPS with that concentration gear though. I think it’s great that players gearing their first character not needing to track down diviners or other harder to get gear can bring offensive support. I think I nerf is warranted but having a support build be easy to play, I’d hand this build to a first time raider any day since there’s plenty of time to watch mechanics. Builds like this are good for getting people into harder content.

@@fancypenguins The issue is that it's totally imbalanced to have insane boon uptime/radius/availability on a build so easy and played with such little effort, whereas other supports have to work twice (if not triple as hard) to output their boons. It's like the difference between walking up the stairs vs. taking the elevator with the destination of arriving at the top of a building. Other supports also have a harder time gearing their characters, due to Harrier/Diviner/Ritualist requirements. If you put 100% Berserker gear on a Firebrand, their quickness/boon uptime would be terrible. Even fully geared out, it's still significantly harder to keep up your range of boons with full ascended Ritualist gear as FB. It should be nerfed, because it's obvious CMC didn't tune boon Herald for this patch.

One thing to point out; Greatsword 4 - Imperial Guard has a stack limit of 5 it does not keep stacking after that. True Strike will use those five stacks afterwards.

It's still so weird to me seeing Herald with Greatsword. But I absolutely love playing Herald so I want to unlock the corresponding mastery to be able to wield Greatsword. Haven't set a foot inside the new expansion, yet.

Its the same except in dragon you use Chaos + Darkness for quickness and leave f2 unused so you have access to stability in Jalis

How much DPS loss are we talking about, switching from Assassin's to Dwarf's stance ?

Considering -You have a need for stab each jalis loop (something like Slothasor is a good exemple) -You can't let ur hammers tic all the time due to the road's energy cost We are talking about a 5 to 6k dps loss on the benchmark

It's quite a bit, but if it's necessary then it's necessary. Certain raids and fractals really love the stability, Heralds are one of the best sources for it aside from Guardian and a couple of other utilities on other classes, so it's worth the sacrifice.

@@fredxu99 following on the sloth exemple, road can be used to apply stability for 10 people as each squares of the jalis road provide for 5 and there are multiple squares. If you are playing with 2 heralds in the composition only one has to take jalis and the other can go shiro
