Did u have to use the module for the tailgate light bar do to having rear parking sensors and or BLIS?

I used a inline plug kit for the factory 7 pin towing harnesses and used that to power the rear led light strip and the white wire is constant power to run the light strips on the running boards. I have a kill switch to disable the lights if the micro switch’s fail. So far it’s been a year and they are still working. I bought some industrial micro switches to use if these failed but so far they are going strong.
