Hey Jason and OCG nation, I'm not looking for any sympathy but I lost my mother and my uncle in the last month. it's been rough but I want to say thank you for providing me with a way to get my mind off the rough times and finding a smile. Keep up the good work Jason. You're helping to keep car Calture alive. God bless you.

I would update the power steering pump bracket. The originals are horrible and floppy. I sent Tom the info on it.
@OldeCarrGuy2 жыл бұрын
Looking into that as well
@leaburnpatey25962 жыл бұрын
That pump is a TRW pump. More common than you think. Stamped right on it...how can you overlook that? 9:47

I may have got the names mixed up, but either way, I had a hard time sourcing a new/reman one!

I had the same issue with the power steering line in my truck, so I did a double flare, and converted it to -4 JIC fittings, and made a hose

TTi sells complete exhaust kits with or without mufflers. Exhaust shops are leary and expensive when it comes to bending tailpipes. The TTi system fits perfect and cost is same or cheaper than a shop. I have installed 3 systems on C bodies.

That flange on the pulley hub is made to fit a dedicated puller set. It should always face out.

Dang! an $800 power steering pump? Reminds me of working on my CRD Jeep Liberty. This is the risk of working on oddbodies some times!

Where else on KZbin can you go and see someone pull a power steering pulley out from beside a bag of mixed vegetables. Now that is East Coast! We do the same thing out here except it's salmon beside the pulley. Just ask Luke. Glad to see your eating a balanced diet Jason.

Looks like everything is in place to steer this ship. Copper fuel line is perfectly acceptable for this application.
