Tonight we continue the progress on swapping my NBS Sierra from a work truck to a loaded SLT. I wanted to have a power window power lock and power mirror truck. Since we are adding all the other stuff and this truck didn't come with cruise control we are adding it. I also show you how to add the upper console or upper pocket in you gmc sierra or chevy silverado nbs. The Cruise control can be added pretty easy as most of them are prewired. If you are doing the conversion for power windows you have done the hard part already. You will need to drill a few holes in order to add the cruise control box. The upper console or upper pocket in a Sierra or Silverado is a little harder. I listed the brace in the links or you can cut one from another truck. Installing this wasn't bad but take your time drilling the holes. The best way I could find was using a rivet to secure the upper console brace. I also took the time to kilmat the roof under the headliner. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

Good job. I trying installing a long console in mine and failed. Wrecked my good headliner. Whent to a junk yard and got another and recoverd it black. Failed at that to. But I did win and getting a comp temp mirrors to work.

Just did the upper console in an extended cab last week. In the extended cab they already have a clip mount lol, just had to get a screw in mount for the screw in part

Huh. Your headliner isdifferent than mine. My dome light is at the back of if. I am going to put a full length overhead console in my 2000 Sierra. I did the compass/temp mirror too. Put a cluster from a 2002 Denali, so I could have a trans tenmp gauge. Plug and play. Some will say it wont work but it does.
