I actually found it easier to solve this problem using the power triangle and trigonometry. But 1st I had to calculate the sin ( acos(0.8) ) = 0.6. However once I had that I calculated directly the reactive power and real power (where missing) for both impedances, w/o ever having to convert from polar to cartesian coordinates any complex number.
