Quintessential Metal DEFINED!!! As an OG Metalhead, I find this song impossible to only play once, twice, three, or even four times, without a complimentary repeat. I came up in the late 80's and early 90's and this top shelf Metal would have fit right in without a second look by any of my metal friends back then. In other words, this shit is totally legit and embodies the culture and spirit of Metal then and NOW!. My only complaint is why couldn't PowerTrip have come out decades ago! Either way, I feel 18 again each and every time I listen. Much Respect!!!

In terms of the metal scene, thrash is pretty mainstream. People want classic-sounding thrash albums, especially ones that try to keep the old-school production and brutality without the technical stuff or melody. Albums like that tend to be well received by critics and they're safe bets for labels. This is still way too aggressive to be *actually* popular though.

Because Greg Gutfeld from FOX is an OG metal head. He and Riley became good friends because of it, who agreed to disagree. Riley helped him at a book signing, proving that people from opposite sides of the political aisle can indeed be friends. Greg met Riley's father, and they all spent time together. Greg gave him a very nice tribute on FOX. As a metalhead I like metal, period, so I came here to check it out. We used to be able to be friends regardless of politics. I hope it can be like that again someday. I'm neither a Democrat or Republican. I'm a conservative American who loves metal and would identify as a libertarian if I had to identify as anything politically, but I don't. I believe in freedom and individual rights, and less govt, period. Just asking, nothing more, did any left leaning News stations give Riley any kind of mention or tribute ? I hope so. I also came here because LoG/Kreator did a song together which was released the other day, and in the video, there was an RIP to Riley on the video, which was a very nice touch. I also have 2 grown sons, and it pains me to think of any parent losing a child. RIP Riley, I believe you were a good person and I like your music, it very much reminds me of more OG metal that I grew up with. Rest in power 🤘🏻
