Can the older Chevy trucks/suburbans be rewired to allow the windows to work when key off. Another Chevy bad idea. How do kids get air? Think about it GM. I camp in my 05 suburban and it is the biggest headache. I have to crack the windows for air each night before I sleep. No rear door handle to open. No rear glass lift. No rear key lock. No passenger door key lock. I had to drill out the rear door panel inside to access the lock so I can get air. The front sunroof is also locked without key on. It's great on hot mornings but if it rains😮. Huge mess. I banged my head a 1000 times on the DVD player in the ceiling. It's useless.. Also the center dome light will not go out automatically when key off. Drains battery. Speaking of draining battery I have a parasite draw I think it's from the door lock on the driver side. Both heaters went dead in the middle of the coldest winter. Unhooking the battery to prevent the parasite draw causes the rear heater to malfunction of the door actuator. The front heater went bad because I used it too much and it melted the wires at the resistor connection. So I hot-wired a new toggle switch in took me all day. 20 amp fuse blew the first time I turned it on so I'm running it with a 30 amp fuse which is too large and could be potential fire hazard. Think GM think.
